Just took my last dose of meds. Tried to do some computer work last night and only lasted an hour before getting too dizzy. This should be an interesting day.
GL dogmama22 Are his parents pushing the issue before he's ready?
No I guess around his second birthday they had him completely daytime trained. Then daycare screwed it up and now he'll be interested for 5 minutes and then he wants to go back in diapers. My vote is to just power thru and do it, but I'm not sure what their plan is.
JoBub , assuming you've told your H the news? Any fun way? How'd he react?
He was napping when I tested, but then Bub went in and woke him up. He was taking his sweet time getting out of bed, letting Bub look at pictures on his phone so I got impatient and just walked in like "Hey, look." He didn't react much. I don't think it came as much of a surprise, since we were trying, and I don't think he understands how unlikely it can be even when you're trying.

Does anyone else have a heavy nighttime wetter? DD definitely is, and we have had good luck with target brand nighttime diapers and sizing up, but they recently changed them I believe because she is wetting through (like soaking wet) now. Any recs? I think pampers overnights would work, as we used to use them before target brand, but I didn't know if there was a cheaper option that worked well.
dogmama22, gl! Is he bothered at all by being wet when he has an accident? If he is, just putting him in underwear and sitting him every 30 min or so the first day or two might work for him.
I just wish we had a plan or technique or something.
I can lend you @jobubs PT book. You can read the gist on the authors blog. Oh Crap Potty Training
Looking at the blog, I'm definitely interested. If nothing else, it will be good to have the info for Z. I think he may actually be approaching readiness based on some of her posts. Of course I just bought a bunch of new diapers haha.

This is a time where I wish I had him more consistently. It sounds like he's giving the parents a hard time over it and I think if I had him several days in a row, we could just get it done. He's in cloth trainers right now that I'm calling underwear, but I'm 95% sure they feel no different than his cloth diapers.

dogmama22, yeah I feel ya. With me only being with the twins 3 days a week, it was hard with PTing. They just turned 3 and they finally took the plunge and put the girl in underwear and she is doing great. She's been ready for a good few months though.

so I frequently troll through the amazon deals, today I found this smile.amazon.com/dp/B0098AOY0K/ I was dying inside from laughter, then I saw the muzzle. Now I'm a little WTF?
We had the baby's check up. He's almost back to birth weight and he's 55% height and weight and 93% head! I still have to write my birth story about pushing and all that- haha .
The pediatrician said that I looked very white and asked if I was taking my prenatals. I was like- well I hemoraged and Im down a few courts of blood. They didn't tell me to take iron but do you all think I should? I feel okay but a littl shakey today. I think because he's really nursing good.

I'd keep taking your PNV. It certainly can't hurt.

I'm so tired. H and I decided that we aren't going to let E climb into bed with us anymore. She has gotten better at bedtime. I'll usually do some work in the hallway after bedtime until she falls asleep (or else she comes up with a million excuses to come into our room).
She still gets up between 11-1 and will climb into our bed every night. We put a blanket and a pillow on the couch in our room and told her she could sleep there or in her room. Tons of crying, but she eventually agreed to sleep in her room if H walked her there. DS is still not 100% so he got up a few times too.
Someone please tell me that this is going to work. I need her to sleep in her own bed. I'm normally a heavy sleeper, but I've been sleeping like crap because she somehow takes up the entire bed. I know she sleeps like crap in our bed too, because she is so tired that she can't get up in the morning.

I agree that I would just take the PNV and try to add in some high iron foods. Oh and i love birth stories, so I'm definitely waiting on yours becole lol
chrispy1122, I don't have any personal experience, but DD (22 months) is still waking up multiple times a week. She is still in a crib, so she just cries til we come get her. But I'm so over the night wakings for almost 2 years. How am I supposed to want another babe if my first is still sucking at sleeping?
I am, however, going to try to diffuse EOs in her room. I'm not a crazy oil lady, but I'm willing to try anything at this point. She goes to sleep fine most nights, but usually wakes up once throughout the night 3-4 times a week. Someone is sending me the doTerra serenity blend to try. I read reviews that it helps kid stay asleep, so maybe it would work with E? No waking up MOTN= no climbing into your bed? I will let you know how DD does with it! I'm expecting it within the next few days, so hopefully by this weekend she will be sleeping all night, every night.

I second the request for becole's birth story! Whenever you feel up to it.
babylove518 definitely let me know whether the EO's work. I'm ready to try anything. O is a great sleeper but as he is starting to be more aware he is realizing that E is sleeping in our bed when he wakes up. Now he tries to scurry into our bed after bath time. It's really cute because he'll lay down and pull up the covers and just grin, but it also makes me feel sort of bad because he thinks E gets to sleep with us in our bed. And four in a bed? No. Just no.
chrispy1122, stay strong! It will work! We've been fighting the early morning battle for about a month now. We got him one of those OK to Wake clocks and he was super pissed when we first started telling him he had to stay in there until it was green. But today he got up just 5 minutes early and when I told him the clock wasn't green yet he just laid back down and said "I keep sleeping." And I know he wasn't even tired, because when it turned green he jumped up immediately. He's just starting to understand what he's supposed to do.
