I'm not sure how to introduce peanut butter. I have no idea how we did it with ds1. I want to do it before 6, so I might just let him lick it off my finger.
When we introduced it with A I just mixed some in with some mashed bananas.

That's what I did. She loved it and did great with it.
Well, I just gave her banana chunks because I couldn't get her to stop crying or eat and she did great with it! She loved it at first but only ate like 5 bites before she was done.
Ryker has been eating solids since 4 months .... he now eats solids twice a day and I give his mum Mum and puffs ... he loves them and does just fine. He also gets a supply cup with water when he's at his high chair.... My experience from working in DC so long is that most do better with food and are ready for it by 6 mo for sure.
ETA: sippy cup not supply cup lol
I didn't even think about the puffs....!
He loves them!! And the Mum mums I just break into a little piece and give it to him
I know! I've been wanting to dabble for ages but I finally convinced MH to let me get just one lolz. Maybe another next week. I found some local fractionated coconut oil (bc of your suggestion ☺️) and it's easier to blend than with the regular coconut oil I use for everything. If I had a million dollars I'd buy tons of stuff, but I'll get there. Right now I'm also reed diffusing which is meh. Adding: tell me your fave things. Like what MUST I try ASAP?
Oh man it's hard to decide what is my favorite haha well Lavender is amazing because you can basically use it for anything and everything! I love the thieves blend because it helps when your feeling sick or have a cold it will knock it right out. I have a baby blend I use on Ry called Tummygize it helps if he's gassy or anything we also use the peace & calming blend too ... I always put some on his feet before daycare to keep him relaxed.
birkmmm do you make roller bottles? Do you do topical application on yourself? Do you worry much about baby gnawing on your recently oiled (insert body part here)?
babycaps your lo takes a pacifier right? How did you sleep train with the pacifier? Lo knocks it out of his mouth constantly.
Did you also ask me how I went about sleep training in last week's thread? I don't think I ever actually finished my reply!!
We have 3 Wubbanubs and 2-3 loose pacifiers. He likes to play with the wubbanubs, so I actually put the "loose" pacifier in his mouth and he keeps it in long enough to fall asleep while playing with the wubbanubs. He is also becoming quite the thumb sucker.
He continues to wake up at midnight, at which time I generally am able to just give him a pacifier again, but I only go in after 15-20min unless he is purple crying.
babycaps I don't think it was me, but my memory sucks so it definitely could have been. Haha
We do something similar, he has a pacifier in his mouth and his lovey. And there is another pacifier in the crib. But he never looks for them when he wakes up, maybe I don't leave him long enough. I'm worried he'll wake ds1 who is in the room right beside him. He also still eats twice at night, I just can't get him to eat anymore during the day so he needs those night feeds.

Yes I have rollers ... I typically put it either on the back of my neck or feet so no worries about it getting on him and I'm very cautious to wash my hands when I'm done just in case (especially with "hot" oils like peppermint)
I wish I could do laundry during the day. Our hydro rates are ridiculous, and we're on a time of use billing schedule where the peak time is twice as much as the off peak time. So of course 11-5 is peak(until next Monday) and I refuse to use the dryer and pay Hydro One more than we have to. Winter season peak is right when most people are cooking dinner. I hate Hydro One.
And in a car seat until they're 27, never eating a grape due to risk of choking, and certainly not wearing shoes with laces for fear of tripping.
Regular doctors also recommend adults never drink soda, get regular exercise, not sit at a desk all day, and getting 6-8 hours sleep, with no screen time before bed.
I'm joking about some of it, but you know where I'm going. There are best practices, and then there's what you can reasonably do.

I doubled up on my Klonopin and I'm still wired. Ugh. I hate nights like this. And of course I lost my headphones so I can't even watch something. Super lame.
