namastebiotches he'll be three in a month! I think they don't usually start until 3 but the coach is the Dad of one of his classmates. He helped us get all the equipment sorted. The kid has a ton of padding for sure. Wondering if we should have gotten him a cup though. Worried about his wee willie haha!

cool! There's a hockey program a town over but it's so expensive for all the stuff. That + ds has poor coordination, I doubt he'd do well skating. At least for now.
This night our DST ended, which of course meant nothing to DD, who was up at her usual time. So its not even 8.30 and I feel like I already had a day. FX she'll wear herself out today and sleep a bit longer for me tomorrow.

We went for a walk at a park in a nearby town to take some pics. Ds brought along his binoculars & we spotted a deer so that was exciting for him. It then started raining earlier than it was supposed to so we headed out & grabbed some breakfast/brunch to go & headed home. We're cleaning ds' playroom & then Dh & I are gonna start a movie & relax.
I'm thinking about doing retakes of DS' photos. They're cute. It's just that his hair could have easily been better if someone would have just swooped it to the side more. I'm actually surprised it's not worse since pictures were so late in the day. If there are retakes, I'm going in when they do it to make sure if won't happen again. I do plan on scanning them though to keep this copy since they want the original back. There's also some kind of gunk on his tie that I remember seeing when he came home that day. Womp womp. Pretty sad how these photographers are paid but still manage to not pay attention to detail.
I've done picture day before as a volunteer and the photographers sit on a stool and don't get up. At DS school there are almost 700 kids to photograph plus 75 staff members. There were parent volunteers who'd hand the photog the picture payments, tell the students name and position the kid. We had combs available to comb kids hair but most refuse.
To be fair the photographers don't know how a child should look.
After some banshee worthy screaming DD went down in a matter of seconds tonight. Well tired out. We visited my uncle today. He doesn't smoke while we're there but his appartment reeks, gross. Also when he pulled out some ancient Legos for DD to play with an we sat on the floorm it was all sticky. I might have to offer him cleaning help soon.

The college is hosting a children's Halloween concert tonight. We're gonna go. I keep telling myself the activities will eventually end so why not. Free is always good & I'm curious how the show will be. Til then, Dh & I are watching Now You See Me 2.

The concert was great. Brought me back to school days when I played the violin. Prior to it starting, they had a musical instrument 'petting zoo' so ds got hands on time with a bunch of instruments. He liked the clarinet & violin best.

DH went out to put gas in his car & grab some Ben & Jerry's & some other snacks. We may start with a movie but the night will definitely end with baseball. I hope this is the last night!!!!
