Hiya. H is home today so the weekend has already started. I got to go to the dr by myself (where they brought up the topic of induction how are we there yet?) And then shopping.
Not much else on the books except trunk or treat at our church on Sunday.

Everybody wants a little romance Everybody's going off the deep end Everybody needs a second chance
Today is my dog's 6th birthday!
Bible study was great this morning. I really missed it last week. G started running a low grade temp while I was gone; hoping it doesn't develop into something worse and ruin his Halloween.
Farmers market tomorrow, in costume if he'll tolerate it. Sunday evening there's a hayride in my ILs neighborhood that we'll go to with my nephews.
How do you find time to workout? I feel like taking time for me takes away from family time and I feel guilty but I really need to get some kind of exercise going (I'm packing on pounds that I want gone!). How do you do it?

Do you have a local club with childcare? A YMCA? Or community center even? I am definitely not good at this, but that is my plan after this kid is old enough. Join and use their childcare so I can get it done during the day. Otherwise it's evening for me which is a) family time b) my worst time of day energy wise. I would do morning but H does morning workouts so that is out for me. It's unfortunate that I really prefer running outside because that is just tougher to find the time with 2 kids as a SAHM. I would push S but we don't have a double running stroller and that's a lot harder anyway lol.

I have a gym membership with childcare included. When we first joined, DH and I would go together after work, but that was problematic because we'd basically be taking V from one childcare to another and he hated it. Plus them it would eat into dinner prep time so then we'd just eat out those nights, which is counter productive. So then we just fizzled out of going. So now I go on my own, I only make it once a week usually, but I go before V's nap for an hour. He enjoys the childcare area and I get in a swim. DH has a weight bench in the basement that he uses now, so we ate just going to cancel his membership.
Other than that we take family walks in the evenings, and that's the extent of my exercise.
The show last night was a lot of fun and DH and I already plan on going next year. Today is a bit of work then early out for the park. We took V last year and he was uncertain about some of the rides, hopefully he enjoys it a bit more this time. I think he will enjoy the kiddie Halloween walkthroughs this year.

Post & run but for those of y'all who have done Honey & warm water for a toddler's sore throat, do you know about how much you did? Looks like 2 teaspoons of honey is recommended by some pediatric study quoted by Mayo Clinic, but I think G would do better with something drinkable as opposed to straight honey.

No estimates but would he take warmed milk? Or even tea? I think of them as more soothing than water. And I would just do a small cup maybe 4 or so oz.
I generally make sure I put it on her peanut butter sandwiches for lunch as another idea.
So a little funny. Talking about running with strollers and I randomly found an actual running stroller, not just a jogger, on Facebook marketplace this morning. It was $50 and in great condition, so we now own a double running stroller. I will still leave that to H mostly but it will be nice for walks.

Turns out G didn't want anything to do with a drink before bedtime no matter what it was, cause he thought it meant he didn't get to nurse. But he took two teaspoons of honey just fine ;-)
Went to a party at a friend's. G was excited to put on his robot costume and knock on the door, but he got nervous going inside and wanted to be held, so we had to remove the costume (it's made from a cardboard box) for the party itself.

Haunted house with my sister tomorrow.
Drove DS around for 2 hours so he'd nap because he refused to go down if he couldn't nurse. Meant to go to the art museum or to the mall, but I'm directionally challenged.
Working this weekend. Nothing fun. I do think DD is getting used to her costume though thanks to H putting it on her for a little bit everyday. I'm thinking she will at least tolerate it for a couple blocks of trick or treating so I can get some candy!
We did trunk or treat at church tonight. Omg S loved it! She had no concept of what candy is but she liked going from trunk to trunk and putting things in her pumpkin.

Did a hayride & trick or treat this evening in my ILs neighborhood. G and my nephews had a blast! Also no concept of candy for my kid but he loved holding his Minnie bucket and saying trick or treat.
The haunted house was fun. We were too packed together in the first half to get most of the jumps. Then the second half the line was backed up and we followed one of the actors through a shortcut. In the second no one was really prepared for us because there was a big gap between us and anyone before us.
I think someone us to have had a problem and stopped the movement through the house. Which happened when we first entered the house. A girl was lying on the floor having a panic attack and the staff wasn't quick on it even after they were told about it. We weren't sure at first if it was part of the house since the staff wasn't helping her. But my sister told her about the chicken exit and she took it.
