mreve, Boston in January is definitely not the best. Sire there is stuff you can do but it's not its best month. Are you looking for a certain distance from home?
Not necessarily, but nothing too far. We live in Alberta, Canada. My mom suggested San Francisco, which definitely has the advantage of being a short flight.
I wouldn't take that long a flight to go to Boston in January then. San Francisco would be a better choice in my opinion.
We are heading to MN for a pop up party and then to tell my dad about the pregnancy. Tomorrow is my sisters official launch soni plan to go and eat all the good food and be "supportive".
Ah! I forgot you are a LLR consultant right? I am so excited about all my leggings to wear through this pregnancy!
kaimee27 - Hope you can relax before your appointment. I am with you on the nerves and mine isn't until next week.
dsp2013 - How do you like acupuncture? I've thought about it briefly but I really hate needles. I know they're tiny and you're not really supposed to feel them - is that true? Your H is very brave. I'm also in Chicago and the crowds looked insane. Bars were packed at 8:00AM!
starsandshamrocks123 - Sorry your H was being such a pain. They really just don't get it sometimes. What's more frustrating is when they don't try to understand.
sabrinaml - Glad you got your coffee! I'm still off tea right now which is sad. Sorry your son was up so early!

+2. Boston in January would likely be miserable. And they're expecting an even worse winter this year. I'd take San Fran!
So H had this plan where he wanted to keep asking me if I wanted a drink and I would just keep saying no, water's fine, etc, as a way to hint to our friends about the pregnancy. I told him it would only work if he kept asking pointedly, many times. Well, he didn't keep it up, so go figure, they didn't catch on. Finally we were serving dinner and I asked if they wanted wine, so he asked me if I wanted some and I said, "No, I can't have wine." H: "Why?" Me: "I'm pregnant!" Our friends laughed and thought it was cute, so all is well.
On the plus side, I ate a sandwich yesterday AND pizza. Both sounded good and tasted mostly good too. Of course, that sent me into a spiral of thinking if my morning sickness lasted only a week, what does that mean, but I'm still queasy this morning and most foods still sound gross. So maybe just turning a corner from it being all day?

Yes I am and have already been planning maternity outfits with the leggings, perfects, irmas, and down the road Julia's!!!!
marshian-it went great We gave him a picture frame with one of our us pics and he got a little teary and asked when we are due and why is it so long away. He said he had to go home and find a place next to his TV for the pic so he could look at it everyday!
marshian I like it. I went to help get pregnant and manage my migraines. So far it seems to have helped with both. I don't usually feel the needles once they're in. Every so often one will hurt a tiny bit when it goes in, but that doesn't last more than a second or two. It's become very relaxing to me, and I get an hour of me time every time I go.

I spent the day playing victim to horrendous nausea and general feelings of crappiness. I laid around trying not to fall asleep since h was working on his truck. I finally have my viability scan tomorrow morning. I will feel worlds better after seeing a heartbeat and some wiggles.
