Having the same thoughts right now even though Dh will be the one actually cooking. I just have to come up with the meal.
About 1-1/2 years ago we started using a web-based meal planning program to plan our meals (mainly dinner). I'll be honest, it makes my evenings MUCH nicer because I don't have to think about what to make.. I just look it up and make it. It's also pretty awesome with the shopping list
I regularly come up with a meal plan pretty easily. My issue this week is that we decided to go camping and my usual plan for that is grill meat and microwave a veggie. Well, Dh parked be camper too far back and be grill is in the trees so it can't be used.
MIL saved the day and had dinner ready for me to take with me when I picked ds up.
WWYD I can meet H down at his work and go with him to the cubs parade and then do lunch.
It would require taking a personal day, and there is a sub shortage. But my partner teachers would just cover my class.
If I went into work, I'd have to sub in another room all day and not see my students anyway.
I have enough days to be paid right now for all but two days of leave.
Part of me feels like it'd be a hassle, but I also think it could be a fun way to spend part of the day with H after the anxiety surrounding the possible false positive .
Before my son was born, I was so afraid of having a little boy, like what would I do with him? I only "knew" about girls, since I only have sisters. But literally I love that kid more than anything. I think in general, little boys and girls are mostly the same in their needs, except for societal expectations. They all end up having such varying personalities, regardless of if they are a boy or girl or whatev.
Just aim their penis downward when you are diapering them so that they don't pee upward out of their diaper and into their clothes. Lol.

Care to share the name of said program?!
I'd love to know the name, too! I've considered something like this but have always wondered if the cost (I don't even know what it would cost) is worth it.
Our crib arrived today! We were excited to build it b/c we had it assembled last time & H felt like we missed out on an experience. I was nervous b/c reviews on 1 site were good, but another site most people said it arrived damaged. It arrived in perfect condition and I LOVE it! The bedding set I've been eyeing on Etsy keeps selling out, but will be posted again tomorrow, so I'll be buying that too. Check and check, I guess this is really happening!
In other news, we had Pho tonight, my first Pho experience. The verdict is in: baby and I freaking love Pho. Hit the spot almost better than anything else in the last 19 weeks. Now to convince H to go out and get ice cream sundaes...
My belly is starting to look pretty intense. My belly button is in an awkward half-innie/half-outie stage, my belly is hairy (and the hairs are like long pubes), my old stretch marks are on display everywhere, and I even can see some new ones... I don't have a linea yet, but I got one with my first so I am assuming it is just a matter of time before it shows up for this one. Or maybe I won't get one this time? Maybe my belly will be spared something? I mean, I fully accept and embrace all the potential horrors here, but dang I am a little intimidated to see what it will be like at the end of this road. Lol.

My belly is hairier too. Also the hairs right under my belly button, which have always been a little darker, are now wiry like pubes. I'm still most sad about the state of my face - I keep thinking I've gotten rid of all the zits and then a new set crops up.
. take the day off! I'm not going to the parade, but I'm not a crowd person. And not really a Cubs fan. The couch sounds excellent too. My assistant is going to the parade, and all 3 partners I work for are out, so I'm totally working from the couch tomorrow.

Sure. They offered an awesome price around Black Friday last year. It's called plantoeat.com (Plan To Eat). I didn't want to sound like I was advertising
