So I've kept my mouth shut this entire election. Here's what I have to say. I'm NOT with her. And I want to make America great again, I do, but NOT his way.
I found a candidate who was late to the game, Evan McMullin. I want to be with him and have him make America great again. BUT if I write him in, then my vote won't count in Florida because he has "no ballot access" here thanks to the horrible governor Rick Scott, who openly adores Trump.
I should be able to write him in, and have my voice heard. I think it's a sad state of our country that I'm being forced to pick between 2 candidates that aren't deserving to hold this office.
So annoyed at DH's coworker. About a month ago, he said his gf was in labor so he left work. It was BH. Then yesterday he said the same thing, another false alarm. But what I'm really annoyed about is that Nathan (coworker) was complaining last week about Aaron being off work, and then his gf just so happens to go into labor yesterday again, which caused Aaron to have to go in. I get being a FTM and having false alarms, but this time I'm 90% certain it was made up to get Aaron back at work.
amberlie, that would annoy me too. But remember karma, one time in the near future, that guy and his gf are going to realize how horrible they were for it.
I may have to avoid my BIL'S girlfriend for a while after today. We're opposites politically, which is fine, but she's arguing her stance without any logic and VERY passionately. It's so hard not to respond, but I'm the odd one out in my husband's family and I don't want to start anything. Whatever the outcome today, I predict fireworks from her and I just don't think I can deal with it. We have family party this weekend. It might be tough.
Barely lol... I'm grouchy today (thanks FB political posts). DS is whining because his friend wasn't able to come over. DD is teething and whining. I'm eating my feelings and watching election coverage. Oy!

But I will still vote. Drop the mic, I'm out.
This is probably a tough opinion to have this board (not our group, but tcf in general). I respect your opinion and I'm glass you shared it.
I am firmly with Clinton and want her to win, but I'm honestly excited to see what happens with Johnson voter turnout. The political system is a mess. The two party system is not working. There are major flaws with more than 2 parties, but it forces politicians to do their damn jobs.
Mostly I just hate Congress. I will never vote for an incumbent in Congress again unless they are campaigning for term limits on Congress. The president is meaningless right now with the bipartisan bickering in Congress. It's embarrassing.

I'm so sorry for all the American ladies here. I am not very well-versed in politics at all, but I do know that these results have left a very uneasy feeling inside for me. I am utterly shocked by the outcome of your election last night and genuinely worried about how this impacts the rest of the world. Serious question, how does someone without any political experience become president of one of the most powerful countries in the world??? Hugs to you ladies. I heard that Canada's citizen and immigration website crashed last night around 10:30.

Good morning!!! Day 1023645 that i woke up with a headache.
Let's all be glad that the election is over and let's all be friends and try to move forward. It is what it is now. It's not what anyone wanted. But what i see from this, is the citizens want change. And DT promised them the change and to make America great again. That's what the voters wanted, as we see from the results. Let's remember our government has a great checks and balance system in place. Let's hope that both sides work together for President Elect Trumps term and make a positive difference in our country.
Also, I feel this is all of our fault. We, as citizens, choose who our candidates were. No one seemed happy with either but wanted to go with "the lesser of 2 evils". So this is our fault. What do we do now? We have 4 years to stand behind the kind of candidate we want to be our next leader. We support them. We campaign for them. And we work together to keep this country great. That's all we can do now. The change needs to start with us. We can't let this election divide our country, we need to stay united.
