I'm staying home sick today. I don't feel that bad but I've lost my voice. Lecturing to 60 students isn't happening. I could use a day to clean and organize around here without having to stop every 30 seconds to tend to a child.

Has anyone figured out how to reset the internal clock on your baby yet? Effing end of daylight savings time. The whole family has been up before 6 for the past two days. I assume she'll adjust eventually.

Oh and some exciting news - my dream job opened up yesterday! It's like they wrote the add for me. Looks like I have a job application packet to put together

DS is playing on his play mat and I'm enjoying some much needed coffee in my new zoo mug that I got yesterday. It's suuuuuuper foggy here this morning! No big plans here today. Probably just focusing on naps and working around the house. I'm trying my hand at a new crafty project so maybe I'll get some time to work on that today. If it turns out decent, I'll try to share a pic eventually

Morning! DS hasn't been too affected by DST (FX it holds up!!).

I took him to Target yesterday (my happy place) and he was fascinated by all the Christmas decorations. I'm getting so excited for the holidays .

The kids actually slept in yesterday but today they were both up before 6. So fun.

DS has been in bed with me after his wake up the past few nights because he can barely breathe. Humidifier isn't helping, anyone have any ideas? I do saline spray in the morning and suck the snot out bc he's stuffy but he's fine before he goes to sleep.

I LOVED taking A through the Christmas decorations section his first holiday season! He was so fascinated! I had forgotten about this! Now I'm excited to take both of them! 😃

Neither kid seems to be affected by dst. They just suck at sleeping. Actually the baby is a pretty good sleeper but ds1 and hunger woke him up this morning earlier than usual.

My parents wanted to take ds1 to the zoo today but I thought he had picture day so I told them I'd meet them there at 1. But when I re-read the sign at school it's actually tomorrow so I decided to take him home and call my parents so we could go earlier. Except I can't get ahold of them, of course. So we're hanging out while lo naps waiting to hear from my parents.

I'm trying to be useful on my sick day. I just finished sorting through outgrown baby and toddler clothes to give away. Pretty soon there will be nothing smaller than 6-9 months in our house. I'm a little sad that we'll never have a tiny baby again but then I remember how much I hate the newborn phase and how miserable I was with this last pregnancy and I realize that it's best that we're done.

dandb925 I took DD to Michaels to look at Christmas decor last week. She loved it!!

aaemommy I have the fam all feels better soon!

We were up too early but it's cool. DD is saying mama now all the time. Of course it has no meaning but I love it.

I have a contractor here fixing my house up all day so there's that.

Ry isn't feeling well idk what wrong if it's gas or teeth or what! He was up a lot last night and is still a wee bit fussy this morning

I didn't how much we were in a set schedule until DST he's doing everything almost exactly an hour ahead.... hopefully it straightens out soon

Good morning! I took DS2 with me to a girls weekend get away in the mountains. We had an amazing time and he was an angel the whole weekend. We went out for a big dinner Saturday night and he slept in his carseat for the whole 3 hours! It was amazing. Now I'm doing laundry and trying to catch up around here.

We are donating 23 trash bags of stuff. I'm proud of us!

My DH hasn't cleaned out any clothes or bedding since high school (he's almost 40). It's just been piled in boxes. That's a lot of crap! Lol There were some funny gems in those boxes.😂

I did 8 from my closet right before I got pregnant and another four a couple months ago.

I sound rich or something but it was a lot of high school clothes and clothes from when I was thinner that I had to accept will likely never fit again lol

How long can you use frozen milk? MH made some extra bottles while I was away last night, can I send them to DC tomorrow even though it will be longer than 24 hours?

I would give them the sniff test. I would be wary to send them, though.

Ugh, I'm wary too. I just hate wasting the milk! It's 12 oz.
