I'm so tired. I had to work today (I work 3 days a week). Luckily I was training someone, and he's pretty self sufficient already and does a lot on his own so I was able to take it easy. But some days that's almost worse than being busy! Oh well, not gonna complain about that. Especially after spotting yesterday, I'm glad I had an easy day today
I am waiting on my last beta result. I had it drawn on Friday and the OB said she would call me today..... I called the nurse to have her call me back, but I am assuming they will not be calling me today. I need to find a new OB. Not only do they take forever to call me back, last time I waited on average of 45 mins.
Oh no that is so frustrating. My RE called me 3 1/2 hours after having my blood drawn this morning. It might be because she knows I'm insane, though.

Oh yeah my nurse at my REs office called me so fast! My RE even called me at the end of her day because she was so happy for me. My OB on the other hand has not been very good... I am going to be so sad to leave my RE office
I'm going to be really sad to leave mine too. I don't have an OB anymore because I had a very bad experience with my last pregnancy. I live in the medical malpractice capitol of America so it's really, really hard to find a doctor here. I'll likely have to find someone in the next state over, which is fine...that's where my RE is. Hoping they refer me to someone good.
I also love that my RE is going to indulge my pgal brain and is having me get betas tested every 48 hours until thanksgiving when I can get my 8 week u/s. Girlfriend gets me.
I am finally getting in tomorrow for what I'm hoping is betas and progesterone testing since I've been asking. They don't seem to care that I have a history of needing to be on extra hormones.. I'm finding a new OB asap.
Is it really necessary to get a pelvic exam? I think they are planning to do one, but I'm not even 5 weeks and I don't see the point. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
So. Appointment sucked. They ran a urine test and that was negative. The ultrasound showed nothing. Dr said I'm either miscarrying or I'm really early in the pregnancy. Did a blood pregnancy test today and then go back on weds to do a second one and see if the numbers change at all. I'm not holding on to any hope though.
Oh Cocomama, hugs my friend. I hope that it's just too early. ❤️❤️❤️

Threw up for the first time this morning when DS woke me up at 4am. Turned in a paper(mock SCOTUS opinion)and I think I did well. Calling to make my appointment tomorrow so I am excited about that but also nervous.

notelsie, my OB did a pelvic. BUT, I went in for a new appointment with a new doctor and to have a pap, and my urine just happened to be positive. So that could just be my circumstances.

notelsie - With my pregnancy with DS they did a pelvic at my first appt. with the OB (first appt. is blood draw and paperwork with the nurse). I have my appt. with the nurse this Wed. and fully expect a pelvic at my following appt. with the OB.
akraus2015 I am in a similar boat. I had a horrible experience with my OB and my late term loss. So I have to find a new OB which means a 45 min drive.
Have you started looking yet? I'm hoping my RE just suggests someone wonderful.

I guess I just don't understand the need for a pelvic exam unless there was a specific concern?
akraus2015 do it! That's about my timeline as well and I'm planning on telling then too, and that tank is cuter than anything I'd ever come up with!
There's a local lady who makes shirts so I think I'm going to have her fancy it up a bit and make a cuter version. Maybe on a loose fitting flowy tee that I can rewear.
I soooo badly want to buy this and wear it to Thanksgiving dinner with H's parents. I will only be 8 weeks. Am I crazy??
That is so cute! I had an idea to put DS in this on Thanksgiving
But I don't know if want to do it then. There is also a Christmas one I was thinking about. I don't know how long I can keep it a secret for. I love my wine and it's going to be extremely obvious.

Ooh that's a great idea, using a looser fit so it can be worn down the road. And by "fancy it up", I hope you mean "bedazzle" (I am thinking of the Goldbergs episode where they bedazzle everything)
