So I'm totally sitting in the work bathroom to write this, I can't wait to update you guys in the group if I ever get a free minute.
tjhine, I hope today is a day you can remember your DH and the love you shared on this day and celebrate the love you continue to share through little T. All the hugs today and this weekend.
LizInFL and ladystrat threading is life! LadyS- eventually it will even feel relaxing, crazy but it will!
ggandlee- love your Vday plans, wish I could crash with my DH! (Our own room or course)
@ljlg1010(did I spell that right) is there anyway to stay with your parents this weekend just to be safe? I worry too much and now I'm worried about you- keep us updated tomorrow!
Flowers- I love them and DH is good about bringing them home a few times a year but I prefer he doesn't do it on Valentine's Day when the price inflates and surprise me some other time instead.
I just found out I get Monday off, happy dance time! And the 2 hour countdown to my 3 day weekend starts now! Hope everyone is close to their end of the work day too!
DD tested positive for strep today which makes me think DS's results were wrong yesterday.
I have an irrational fear of Valentine's Day because our first 2 years being married we spent it at the hospital, once for DHs grandpa and once for his mother. Both of them passed away recently. I got DH a card but that is all.
DH came home with a bottle of wine which is the kind of wine I drank the night we think we conceived T. He made some remark about drinking it so I won't get my period for 2 more years. I was kinda over the I want a fourth kid thing then he goes and teases me like that.
So this will take up the majority of the top of my arm, and then he is sketching up two more similar leaf designs to be placed at top right (almost in front of my shoulder) and bottom left (towards my elbow).
tgrimes1980 lots of hugs lady! You're an amazing sister, friend and mommy!
I'm in the back seat of my jeep. Evie is long over due for a nap, but just keeps jabbering away. Plus I have a huge headache to go with the congestion. I just want to sleep.
Did this make any of the other olds start singing "Back Seat of My Jeep?"
One of my friends is calling me tonight to tell me she's pregnant. I'm so excited!!
She lives in LA and we normally communicate via email and text. The last time we talked on the phone was to tell her that another friend and I were pregnant. The time before was when she was pregnant the first time. I know she was trying for #2 so I immediately asked a mutual friend, who simply responded to play dumb.
A neighbor just came to complain about Richards music in his car. It's not even loud! I can't even hear it in the house! Apparently another kid up the street caused him to have a heart attack because of loud music.. I'm wanting to call bullshit. He said he's disturbing the peace. I said at 9pm I would agree but it's 3:30.. I'm gonna call the police and get the times for peace but I'm pretty sure 3 isn't part of it.
I don't know the laws where you live but in my area, it isn't about the time the noise was occurring, it was about the level of noise. Also, in most jurisdictions, disturbing the peace requires the complaining party to ask for the noise to be reduced, as they just did. Basically, in my area and most areas, failure to comply with a request to lower the noise can amount to disturbing the peace.
Tl; dr: tell Richard to lower his music. It's not worth it.

I just found a mouse in my kitchen. In my dogs treat jar. On the counter. I am horrified. Picking up C and taking him to the bar where I will drink and he will eat grilled cheese until I get a call that it's gone and my kitchen is disinfected.I will have nightmares.
I have an hour left at work and nothing to do. I'm off Monday for Hannah's dr appt and off tues for a dentist appt for me. I'm excited for an extended weekend.

AHHHHHHH!! So sorry that happened, it's horrifying.

I would. If it was loud! If I can't hear it through the glass screen door it's not loud. I can here the dogs nails on the concrete through that door!
Could the neighbor possibly have y'all confused with someone else? are there other teenagers, or a similar car around? I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but it sounds like he might just be old and crochety.
lfigge That is adorable! Super cute idea! klongoria11 Mix equal amounts of some kind of yeast/anti-fungal cream (clotrimazole, nystatin, etc) with 1% hydrocortisone and 40% zinc oxide creams. Apply liberally at each diaper change. I just got us checked in at the hotel. Now picking up M at daycare.
So a couple weeks back, I posted a WWYD about this girl I was friends with in high school who keeps messaging me on FB. Well, she's baaaaaaaack (after me ignoring her last couple messages) and wants to get together. The message was "would you want to get together for coffee?" which, in itself, is kind of an awkward way of putting it. It's like she knows I'm trying to keep my distance.
I knew this was coming. Le sigh. I feel like a real jerk ignoring her invite, but that is my plan.
tallblonde Thanks! We actually just got the camelbak tonight and she's obsessed. She wouldn't put it down until supper. I would suggest letting J try it out.

I don't know why I went to the trouble of putting names on the Valentine's. The teacher was apparently not paying attention when putting things into bags because we got a valentine for Michelle and Asa. The valentines that actually had Cadence's name on them, spelled her name wrong. We got a name list. How do you get it wrong off of a name list?
