When is the latest that they say it's safe to fly during pregnancy? I was invited to speak at the National Charter Schools Conference on 6/11 but I'm due 7/18. It's such an awesome opportunity, but is that cutting it too close?
36-37 for most airlines, I think. Depends on your office, where you are going, and how your pregnancy is going as well. With DS, I got placed on a "no more than 1 hour drive away" restriction at 34 weeks. I will most likely be asked to apply for a N.R.C training that's in March when I'm 33-34 weeks but it's in Chattanooga so I may ask to put it off until after leave because I do not want to have a baby there

I'm hoping maybe I can convince H to come with me. That way if something crazy happened he'd be there. It's so early on that it seems silly to even be thinking of it but proposals are due this month and I don't want to commit and then end up needing to cancel.
akraus2015, Flying while pregnant is consider safe up to 36-37 weeks but double check with the airline because they may have an earlier cut off date. Southwest gave me the ok to fly at 38 weeks. I won't need to, but that's what I found out.
akraus2015 My doctor says 32 weeks for international and 36 weeks domestic. I had a possible 8+ hour flight overseas scheduled for when I was 31 weeks, but she told me we'd have to play it by ear. When it got closer, I just wasn't comfortable and decided to skip it. However, I did fly domestically at 33 weeks and was fine. For me, I was okay knowing we were over land and could make an emergency landing, if needed. And the flights were under 4 hours.
