Morning! I finally gave DD some peanut butter on her waffle this morning. What have you all been doing? Peanut butter each day to test it out or do you space days or just randomly whenever you feel like it?

When we first started, we gave him a teeny bit a few days apart (so, like, over a week or week and a half). After the third time with no reaction, we gave it the green light and he now eats it quite often. In yogurt, on bread, in pb&j sandwiches, etc.

I spread a teeny bit into yogurt, the second time a bit on toast, that's when he got the reaction so no more till allergist now.
We're going shopping! I go for walks every day, but damn it will be good to get out of the house! My mom is coming, we're going to have lunch and then hit some shops then flu shots for me and Magoo! This weekend is pretty tame, swim tomorrow morning, Sunday I'm minding my Niece while my sister has the other one in swim class. That's it!

britterrss omg I forgot about my Nintendo DS! I loved that thing. I'm going to dig it out. SO used to be big into Xbox games but since we moved has pretty much stopped. I wouldn't mind if he started again... he never played until kids were in bed and then it gave me some solo time...
chocolate we spread it on mum mums a little at a time. Now it's one of her favorite treats.
We had a decent night (for us) so I'm not dying anymore. L has her 9mo appt today (waaaaaah so big!) and then we are driving to my friend's in NH. Her baby shower is tomorrow so we are heading up tonight. I'm hoping L sleeps in the car... DNW screaming baby while I drive solo 3 hours north...
Morning! Pretty mellow day ahead for me. My DH's great aunt passed away on Wednesday and tonight is the memorial service. She was 100 and lived a good life.

We still haven't done PB because I'm terrified of it. We'll probably spread a little bit on a mum mum. That's what we've done with hummus (not for allergy reasons, just to get him to eat it). This weekend.
Sorry for your family's loss, trtlcrzy. I hope it feels like a celebration of a good life.
H has started playing video games again more often now that we have to be home so much for naps and sleep. I'm pro video games because it also gives me some alone time. We can sit together on the couch and do our own thing.
He usually plays on his own, but we usually play whatever Mario game gets released each year to beat together over the winter months.

I'm just starting it now myself. My ped said to skin test first, so I spread some behind her ear (weird!) this morning. If no reaction I will give her some on puffs or teething wafers tomorrow and again Sunday. FX for no reactions!

L is back at daycare, so naturally I woke up feeling crummy this morning. At least my eyes appear to be okay. I just have the worst sinus pressure.
L just looks at me like I'm crazy when I fake cry.
Have any of the other babies started to understand "no?" L has picked up on it recently and will stop what she's doing, but make the saddest pout face and cry like we just crushed her dreams. I makes me sad and also make me have to turn away to laugh a little.
Did anyone play video games pre-baby? Are you still? I miss my Nintendo DS.
I played DS in college/couple years after until my dog chewed my power cord. I had the most boring games lol. I did Mario party which was cool but I also liked the games where you found hidden objects and brain games. I really need to get a replacement power cord from amazon.
On video games: I used to play WoW before DD1 was born, but it was impossible to have the laptop or around her so I stopped. I recently started playing Order and Chaos 2, which basically a WoW clone on a mobile platform.
On peanut butter: We haven't tried it yet because I'm allergic to it. I'm a bit paranoid after her reaction to scrambled eggs, which I used to be allergic to.
Spring registration starts Monday and I'm really stressing about getting signed up for classes. The one department chair won't return my email/phone message after I was told to contact them for permission to register for a biology class. I'm going to advisement at 8:30am Monday and begging them to allow me to register. The guy I talked to before was all breezy saying I won't have any problems since I have a masters in science but the system isn't showing the credits I already have. I'm still freaking out about no one getting back to me and I don't want a problem that isn't resolved until the class gets filled. I foresee not sleeping for the next couple nights bc I'm worrying about this.

There was a puzzle game where you found little things and coins and stuff that I LOVED. I can't remember the name now! You solved brain teaser things... I want to play that now!
piperhalliwell He understands no enough to stop what he's about to do, but most of the time he just tries again a little while later. So it doesn't actually stop the behavior yet, just gets his attention and makes him pause.
britterrss, I sometimes played video games. I loved games on the Wii or N64. I still occasionally play games, but its usually after the kids have gone to bed.
H is more of a gamer though. He still plays games a lot more than me. But I usually have to tell him to turn the game off when he's been playing for hours because A. he tunes us out and I feel like I'm talking to a wall and B. I expect him to co-parent with me when he's home and the kids are awake.
Apparently S must have popped that tooth I was expecting last night or sometime today. And it wasn't the one I thought was going to be next. She now has the tooth right next to the bottom left tooth. I dosed her with Motrin and hopefully she sleeps all night tonight (ha!).
Wonder if those are the same as what I have. I bought a pant/long sleeve set like that in the store a long time ago and they are almost like a silky soft material. So comfy. I forget about them though so I don't wear them often enough!
