My mama kept both kids overnight so I got to sleep all.night.long!!! I woke at about 3:15 (f's normal mid night wake). I have to pick them up at 10:30. H is off hunting so I'm going to put in a little OT for work.
MH is working a call today, so it'll be grandma, the kids, and I. Hopefully, I don't murder my mother. We went to sleepy hollow yesterday and I forgot how much I love it. Cemetery tours are my jam, which probably indicates that there's something wrong with me as a person. Haha.
Otherwise, I swear we're hitting the terrible twos. All the things K never used to do are all of a sudden a way of pushing boundaries. When she gets told no, we go full scale throwing ourselves on the floor tantrum. Kill me now
TheTuna15 something must be Wong with me too because I also love walks through cemetery's! I have not done a creepy your but have always wanted to. We have this really neat cemetery here called "Hollywood Cemetery" and there are some neat people hurried there plus the pyramid of confederate soldiers is there. Fascinating stuff.
So, h and I have been discussing moving next year BUT we're a bit upside down due to the loacation. BUT BUT we now live in what's being called "midtown" and within the last couple months land near us has been cleared for new town homes and shopping centers. So now we're talking about holding out a little longer. Ugh! I want a bigger kitchen/living space so badly. But I think making money for a bigger place would be worth another year.
So now I'm on Pinterest so I can revive my decor and make my house "new"...
Morning! Errands today with Miss M and then home for a nap (her) and cleaning (me). FX so hard she doesn't nap in the car, but we have a decent ride down the highway, so it's probably going to happen on the way home. Sigh...
M has officially learned to tell me "eat" and "milk." She'll also go to her chair for "eat" and will stand where her sippy cups are for "milk." My goodness, do those two words make life easier. No more guessing what's wrong! Is she hungry? Is she thirsty? Is she tired? Is it her diaper? NOW I KNOW! Hallelujah.
malvo yay for talks! F has also exploded with words within the last couple weeks. A LOT of repeating. And she can ask "what's that?" And when I tell her she'll repeat it. My favorites from yesterday were "makeuk" and "dede pise" meaning 'Declan surprise' when d said "come here shuggie I have a surprise". And yes he calls her that! Melts my heart
rvamama OMG that's adorable! M has had the words, just wasn't consistently using them properly. I can now be certain that she really is hungry when she says "eat."
She also started with "help me" when she wants me to do something for her. It's more like "Hep me! Hep me!"
Morning yesterday at the store e was saying by to all of the blowup animals and to 1 she said "bye see ya." Yes to the boundries. She has to kick everything now. She will open a cabinet so she can close it with her foot. E and I already ran to aldi's to get my mom a turkey. They have them on sale cheaper then her store and I found a b Ingersoll bird then what she could get as well. E peed on the potty again this morning. I got a seat for out potty and she used that this morning.

Yeah. We say "Oh no" all the time. Other than that Jo just growls like s dinosaur. We got mad skills.
Not much going on today. DH is gone at an auction so it's just me and the kiddos. They both fell asleep on the way home from Wegmans so I just finished tidying up for my LLR open house. I'm boring.
Yesterday my aunt was bugging my mom asking if e was going to be stopping by on thanksgiving. When I already told my uncle we wouldn't be there. Today my hb found out he has to be at work at 5am black Friday so definitely not going to my uncle's house.
Hey friends rvamama- yay to the sleep! So nice. So exciting about the possible move, even if it is a year away! TheTuna15- I would totally go on that cemetery tour with you. So interesting. We are also in full blown tantrum mode. V goes with the slow melt to the floor while screeching. It's lovely. malvo- Good for M! @megaugust10- Way to go, E. we randomly pee on the potty here but we aren't trying to do anything about it yet. babys2015- I agree with the sentiment but the packing will be worth it! Hang in there! graciest719- Give yourself some credit. Not boring. You have already accomplished a lot. I'm still in pajamas with no real reason to change!
We are taking part in a neighborhood garage sale day. We put out a bunch of baby gear and some other random stuff, but it seems slow out there. H is outside taking care of that with C, and V and I are watching Lion King in jammies. I do need to get out a buy some new jeans and pants today. Hoping it will work out during nap time. V has some phrases now, and it's been so cute. She asks for more, but it comes out like "Mo' the ____". So, mo the wawa (water) and mo the eap (eat) have been common. Also mo the simba, because she's 100% obsessed with Lion King now. We also recently started full blown running. So that added with the refusal to be carried or hold hands has been interesting. I think I had forgotten how tiring that is.
Editing to add, I have recently found must have items in literally all of LLR ladies' albums and I'm having to hold back from purchasing. We are trying to slow down the spending and be mindful of Christmas coming. So sad for me TheTuna15- will you be carrying the Muse top down the road, or were you just checking it out?
Also, the Kringle is back at Trader Joe's again and my holiday wish list is complete. I remember posting about this last year. I can't really emphasize enough how delicious this thing is. I've been losing weight very slowly but this might turn the tide for me :/ No self control with this.
malvo love when f ask for "hewp" now!! graciest719 probably not yet! Eventually we'll probably build on the family land in goochland or maybe louisa but for now just looking at mountain road/33 area. LesleyEO never heard of Kringle!
1. Groom in full tux with jacket, black vest and blue bow tie. 2. Best Man in same outfit, but no jacket. 3. Groomsman in white shirt, black suspenders and blue bow tie
Ooooooor... should they all be the same as the groom? The guy at the tux place gave me the side eye, so now I'm doubting myself.
Here is the tux (but imagine with blue bow tie and pocket napkin thing).
malvo the groom is normally different then the rest. I think yours sounds good. The guy was probably side eyeing because they aren't making as much off them.
malvo- where are you getting married? Is the venue formal or not? I guess the variation in the men's outfits makes me think of very different types of weddings and venues. There isn't wrong with any of those choices, I just perhaps wouldn't use them all together. Give us more info!
I just spent over $10 on a small block of fancy cheese at Costco. It is crazy delicious but I feel like that was sort of a waste of money. Sad to say it will probably be gone quickly.

Venue is a church. I feel like maybe all of the groomsman + best man should have vests and bow ties. I was trying to make the best man stand out in some way.
