Is anyone else exploring non-onesie options for clothes? We just packed away our 6-9 wardrobe and the 9-12 wardrobe we inherited is mostly regular shirts. Curious what you all think? P.S. These clothes look gargantuan but the 6-9 stuff is too small so these must fit?!
I don't like using regular shirts until they're a little more upright. Shirts tend to ride up way too much for my taste. We have several shirts and I usually end up putting a onesie under it to keep his tummy covered. ETA tag snoris
Erg. This is what I was thinking. He's so stinking squirmy haha. Now why on earth did this mother purchase such a gorgeous wardrobe that included zero onesies for this size?

Annoying but not the end of the world. Just grab a pack of onesies and put them underneath. Not sure where you live but I did that for my son's first winter anyway to keep him warmer with layers without having a heavy jacket.

This is a great idea! I have some dress shirts for church and some other t/shirts that I've been reluctant to use too often because they ride up so much lol
Went to my bffs house for bible study. DS fell asleep so I popped him into the halo bassinet. We both got misty eyed over how big he is. Her due date was Saturday and she's itching to meet her LO.

Could be that her kid was older by the time he was wearing that size.
Allie is getting a tooth! It's just starting to break through; I can feel the three individual bumps on the bite edge just poking through the gum. Poor girl was fussy all day until I gave her a dose of Tylenol. After that she finally relaxed and even napped for more than 20 minutes.

We use T-shirts with leggings with LO right now. Not a lot of them but maybe 2-3 times a week? I know in the next size clothing (9m, 6-12, 6-9) I have probably an even amount between shirts and onesies. We even started doing top and bottom PJs. Riding up never really bothered me I guess

Maybe baby was super small and was actually a year old by the time they got to that size?

Ds1 was wearing 9 month shirts as a 1 year old. Once they start walking I prefer shirts.

DS started saying "mamamama" yesterday!!! I melted
Ry has been doing this dh said "he isn't saying mom he's just making noise" and I'm like shut up he is most definitely saying mom. But seriously it's the most Precious thing ever 😍
So funny - I've got the opposite argument here! My mom and sisters are insisting that it counts as his first word! I said, no it's just his first consonant sound. He doesn't know what it means, he's just making noise! It's not a "word" until he's actually referring to something!
They were all having a good laugh at me and my "serious" take on his mama sound!
But for real - darn cutest thing!!!
Also, your baby crying out "mama-mama" in the morning sure gets you outta bed just a little bit faster
