The babies are getting bigger in this group! Let's here how you're doing as your ticker changes to the next week!!!
How far along are you? 9 weeks!
How big is baby? Eastern tailed blue butterfly
Upcoming appointments this week? US tomorrow!
Any new symptoms or changes? Thankfully nothing new. I know I complained about the constipation last week and that is my biggest complaint again so far this week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I've been prone to hip issues and sciatica pain for several years (I got kicked by a donkey in my hip). So that's been acting up the last few days. Time to book an appt with the chiropractor.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert? It's a toss up between my moms homemade chocolates and her molasses cookies!
Upcoming appointments this week? We have a consult with the birth center we decided not to use when I was pregnant. The midwife we really liked isn't there anymore, so hopefully it's still a good fit.
Any new symptoms or changes? DW seems to be experiencing round ligament pain, still can't stand the sight of most food, and has started having to pee all the time.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert? hmm normally I would say pumpkin pie, but I'm feeling the need to branch out this year.
Me (32), DH (32) TTC since Dec. 2014 Dx: severe MFI (azoospermia) Micro-TESE was successful. IVF planned for spring 2016.

How far along are you? 10 weeks
How big is baby? Mini cocktail sausage
Upcoming appointments this week? Had my first visit with my new OB yesterday, got to hear baby's strong heartbeat at 160!
Any new symptoms or changes? Morning sickness is still kicking my butt. OB declined to prescribe me anything, said the Unisom and B6 helping a little is good enough. Hmph.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My new OB didn't notice that I have already lost 10 lbs since my last visit (due to morning sickness). Apparently it is not a big deal to her. I suppose I'm glad that she also feels that I can gain as much weight as I need to, instead of the 15-25 lbs that was initially recommended to me. Background: last pregnancy I gained 50 lbs, wore it fine, and lost most of it fairly easily.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert? My dad's fudge and penuche (basically caramel fudge). My grandmother's divinity also is high on the list, but she is unable to make it anymore and my divinity lesson did not go well.
Upcoming appointments this week? Not for a few more weeks
Any new symptoms or changes? Barfed for the first time yesterday but I think it was a fluke. Blaming H eating leftover lasagna and smelling it all night. Getting more gas. Not constipated, but it's slowing down in there. Acne is spreading to my chest and neck.
Rants/Raves/Questions? H and I need to make a decision on genetic screening so I can schedule the appointment. Leaning toward doing the NT scan and then we can always follow up with NIPT if warranted.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert? Dessert is my favorite part of holiday meals! I'm really into baking, so difficult to choose one. Some favorites: Rugelach, peppermint patty cookies, really anything peppermint, chocolate trifle (guess I'll have to skip adding Godiva to it this year!), fresh gingerbread cookies (the soft ones).
Upcoming appointments this week? Today, NT scan, I'm terrified especially since it's not with my RE and I have a tilted uterus
Any new symptoms or changes? Headaches, ugh they are the worst
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had a stranger congratulate me on my pregnancy (said she could tell when people were pregnant). Also told me to talk to my baby more and to not be so anxious. I literally have a flat stomach and was a bit creeped out. I'm a super scientific evidence based person so this experience doesn't fit within my experience of normal
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert?
This question actually makes me queasy, dessert of any kind is a huge food aversion right now
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015

11 weeks
Baby is: bee hummingbird
Next appt: NT scan on Monday! It's the first US so I'm nervous to see what's going on in there
New symptoms: not really. The queasiness is still there. Hope it starts getting better
R/R/Q: looking forward to thanksgiving and telling family BUT I had the terrifying though... I've been so iffy with food that I'm worried I might actually be repulsed by it all and vomit!! I hope I can enjoy it...
GTKY: not a dessert person so I'll go with the standard warm Dutch apple pie with vanilla ice cream

Upcoming appointments this week? next appt is 12/1
Any new symptoms or changes? super painful gas, but have felt a little better overall the last couple of days. nausea seems more common at night now.
Rants/Raves/Questions? anyone else using a home doppler? i haven't tried mine yet this time, but i want to soon.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday dessert? can i pick like 10? chocolate pie with graham cracker crust and whipped cream, cheesecake, pecan pie are all so good.
agm04, I have a home Doppler. I found the heartbeat in my first two pregnancies closer to 9 weeks, but this time I couldn't find it till 10 weeks 1 day. If I were you I would give it a shot now/soon, but I'd set myself a time limit to look and assume I wouldn't find it yet anyway
How do you guys find the unique measurement comparisons? Like Leto man or specific butterfly, etc.? I feel like a loser just sharing whatever the bump tells me! (Or should I say, the dump?)
I'm using the Ovia app, I think that gives me a different answer.

I usually get it off the app Ovia.
I also use this app. And it seems like it has been pretty correct with the measurements we have had in our ultrasound. The one thing to note, is the measurement is for the end of the week I believe, not the beginning. Obviously not a huge difference but it is something to think about.

+ 3 for Ovia I also love the daily "facts". For novelty baby measurements you can also google baby sizer which is cute but not the most scientifically accurate all the time

pinecone21 I hated this, it happened to me several times but now, at 12 weeks is gone (and my uterus is now tilted forward ). Like teachermomtobe I had relief leaning forwards or putting my feet on something to prop them up

I tried leaning forward and only a few drops came out. I'll try putting my feet up next time. It's such an uncomfortable feeling. I'm just glad I was eventually able to pee and my bladder didn't explode or something.
