I like this. I'm wondering if we should limit it to only a few individuals. I'm pretty much opposed to all of the rumored options so far, but I'm thinking this might be a time where you have to choose a lesser of two evils kind of thing.

This is possibly a dumb question, but here it is:
When we say "write" do we mean actual paper or email? I've been a part of a few email campaigns on behalf of my work, but I've never actually wrote/typed a letter to a Congressman.

I know people were talking about this on PN. Someone said that if they get 40-50 handwritten letters versus hundreds of emails, they're more likely to take notice. Since handwritten letters are not the norm today, it shows that someone took the time to really get the message across.

I deal a fair amount with congressional offices for work, and there's a general rule of thumb at most that any constituent inquiry requires SOME sort of response, back to the constituent (and usually more than the blanket thank you for your concerns), and all responses are tracked with regards to topic to look at trends.
Please, I'd love to have something to send my senators. I'm not good on the phone so letters is my best bet.
I would still call, even if you're uncomfortable.
I'm a crier. I get a shaky voice every time I talk about something I'm passionate about. When Orlando happened and I called my reps about gun control, I had a shaky voice and I had to stop to compose myself a few times. I'm not ashamed and in fact, I'm glad they heard it because I want them to know I mean what I say.
Edit: I know phone calls are hard. I hate talking on the phone. But this is a good reason to come out of your comfort zone.
DH handles phone calls to our reps on behalf of our family. I have an anxiety disorder and phone calls like this are a major trigger.

Bolton as Secretary of State is a disaster for any hope of peaceful negotiations. Basically, he's a disaster for peace.
I've heard Sarah Palin was rumored to be a consideration for something, but I don't know what. How she's not just a joke of the Republican party yet, I do not know.

I think I'm going to focus on Bannon and Bolton.
Interior Secretary.
It should be really awesome to have a Young Earth Creationist in charge of the NPS and all our natural resources when she doesn't even seem to understand the processes by which they were developed...
