I'm working from home today. Yes! It's an attempt to be more relaxed and really, most of my work is handled by my CW covering for me. Except that today she has to do a few things and having to remotely supervise her is making me anxious. Sigh.

I went to tour that DC my sister recommended. Since I knew she liked the curriculum I focused more on safety, payments, and how they handle unruly children. I signed Leo up. He'll start there Dec 5th. I can't say what happened last week with that teacher at Leo's current DC. But I am very unhappy at how the office has handled my complaint and very upset that yesterday they moved Leo to that teachers room again without having had any discussion with me about it.

littlelion Fx it's a smooth transition for Leo. Sounds like it's going to be a better situation though and peace of mind for you will be huge. I'm sure he'll be happy too.
Have had a really rough couple of weeks. Not going to dig into it but it's been really difficult with my oldest, who is struggling with depression. I'm just trying to push through to the end of the semester and keep my girl afloat in the meantime.
In happier news, I have officially applied for graduation in the spring, still am on track to have my 4.0, and have my clinical set for spring in some pretty cool rotations.
LO is sick and VERRRRRRY cranky today so I'm going to run but will try to check in later and reply. I've been a bad J15 mom, just lurking and LTing. Hugs to all.

kcrus Hugs to you mama. Highschool was a super hard time for me. I struggled BAD with depression and I know a lot of my actions (without going into detail, I chose to physically manifest how awful I felt) were really, really hard for my parents to cope with. I can't even imagine being the mom in that equation. I'm sure you feel helpless. Lots of thoughts for you and yours. I hope she can get all the help she needs to get through this tough time. Hugs hugs hugs

My turkey breast is in the slow cooker. Dh was saying not to make it since his company will give him a turkey lunch on Friday and Thanksgiving is next week. Eat my turkey and like it!
I'll probably do a freezer meal out of most of it...it's over 4 lbs.
Thanks ladies. Unfortunately, my oldest is bipolar, so this has been an ongoing struggle. We have great doctors and support, so we are doing everything we can. Thanks for all the love!
I've been lurking lately as I drown in marking in preparation for midterm reports next week. Also recovering from a crappy week of sleep following the time change. We seem to almost be back to normal, so hopefully I'll have more time to post soon!
littlelion Sorry for having to make the decision to move Leo, but I would have done the same thing and I'm sure he will adjust quickly and love it!
kcrus Sorry to hear you've all been struggling, especially your oldest I am in awe of how you handle everything; I hope she gets the help she needs, and congrats on nearing graduation!
At the ER with LO. She got into my mom's weekly pill organizer, and she might have taken a niacin. Just to be safe, brought her in. Dr said she'll be fine, no side effects. Keeping her for an hour for observation. What a way to end the day.
Hi! littlelion thanks for checking on me! Finishing up first report cards and last parent conferences tomorrow
Just sitting rocking leo for the third night in a row. I think he is having nightmares. DH is away on business, of course. I'm sure he will end up in my bed soon so I can get enough sleep to survive tomorrow.
littlelion I'm glad you found a different D.C. I hope it's a better fit ! ourcrazynavylife good luck with paper writing! kcrus I hope your oldest is feeling better soon (and your youngest!) sending hugs. congrats on applying for graduation! megpie5 sorry about crappy sleep, I'm with you there right now! raven oh no!! I hope LO is ok!
Everything is fine. We were discharged, took her home, gave her a bath, and put her to bed. She never acted differently, and we're not even sure she took it. We never did find the missing pill, though. I ate a very large piece of carrot cake after she went down. It was delicious.
