I actually had to layer a heavy wool sweater over my work clothes this morning because a cold front moved in last night. It was in the 80s the past two days so I'm pretty excited about it. Family coming in town today for first thanksgiving, which we're doing Sunday night. Which means no cooking dinner all weekend. Yay!!! dashook J15s need an update!!
Hi ladies! We started my induction this morning--eek!
After a night of Cervadil, I was 3 cm and 70% effaced when checked at around 7:30 this morning, and contracting regularly and well on my own. They started a low dose of Pitocin and have already increased it to 6, because even though my ctx are 3-4 minutes apart, they aren't really building in intensity just yet.
The doctor wants to have me move baby down a bit so she can eventually break my water. So I've been alternating walking the halls with laying in bed trying to relax to keep my BP in check. Which gives me chances to check in too
dashook Hope things are working magic over there! ourcrazynavylife How cool is that! Have fun.
Nothing going on today. Getting a tire put on the truck this afternoon, but that's it. Maybe it's a coffee and donuts kind of morning. Thank goodness there's two coffee places next to donuts.
I had some weird tummy troubles yesterday so I'm hoping today is different. I need to go on a short run later this morning. I've decided to run a semi-crazy running event tomorrow. It's a 6 hour .51 mile loop, but the official event got cancelled so basically anyone can come run any part of it. So since I have 20 miles on the schedule I'll need to run 40 loops! LOL. One of my friends is aiming for 50 miles. She's just nuts! lol
Just chugged my coffee. Today and tomorrow are going to be the 2 busiest days. Lots of running around today and then cooking and cleaning the rest of today and tomorrow. Fx lo stays in a good mood... and doesn't take a car nap during all our running around.
laceysbryan we are having the exact opposite weather. Today is supposed to be really warm. Tomorrow is down to the 40s and maybe some flurries! Crazy weather. dashook I'm glad you're able to move around. I was stuck in bed when I was induced. Fx for a smooth delivery for you! ourcrazynavylife have fun! raven you definitely deserve a coffee and doughnuts morning!

BabyStandish ugh I couldn't imagine even riding my bike that far. Hope you tummy feels better. ourcrazynavylife that sounds fun, hope the runners stay healthy.
AFM, just hanging out in my chair again today. My contractions only act up if I do too much, so since DH is out of town today and tomorrow I am trying to take it easy. MIL brought over a crock pot of food so at least the kids won't starve. Speaking of food I am looking for some freezer meals to make since DH is starting another job on DEC 1 and I want to have them made before he starts so I have a nice stock pile for when he is not home to take care of me 😉 and the kids. He has taken over all of the cooking and cleaning since being put on restricted activity again. I went to culinary school but they didn't lean towards pre-made meals.
nemomof2 I made a ton before delivering Em. Like a whole months worth. Pinterest is super helpful for ideas. Also splurge and get the crockpot liners.
I have been checking out pinterest a lot. I never thought of the crock pot liners. That is a good idea, I hate easing the cooked on food of the crock pot.
nemomof2 for freezer meals I like meatballs and any type of soup. I don't have too much advice since this is kind of new to me too.
I do like meatballs and we do have a lot of ground beef from when we got that cow earlier this fall. Good idea! I am not much on soup and neither are the kids.
nemomof2 we did a lot of meatballs for freezer meals as well. I make a huge batch and then divide them up and freeze them so we can make different things with them. We also made pasties and froze them with the dough uncooked. The prep to make them takes a little while, but super easy to pull out of the freezer and pop in the oven. Baked mac n cheese freezes really well too. We like this recipe: www.food.com/recipe/alton-browns-baked-macaroni-and-cheese-107712
