Thankful Friday 11/18 ~ Grocery Shopping Edition

Hey, everyone! I assume I'm not alone in doing my Thanksgiving grocery shopping this weekend. I'm doing it all on Saturday morning since the grocery store opens at 8 a.m. and BJ's opens at 9 a.m. FX I get it all done in a matter of a few hours. And with J's ear infection, this should be really *easy*. Pray for me.

Good luck with your shopping, @boxerific. Doing anything special to that turkey? My MIL makes an orange-bourbon brine that is to die for! God, her turkey is so good.

I'm thankful J doesn't have an ear infection. Doc said it's just a virus and the high fever today was most likely the fever breaking. She even cleared J for outside contact, so date night is on for tomorrow night!

I prepurchased tickets for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so MH and I are going to dinner and a movie tomorrow night. So excited! We're big HP nerds, so this should be fun.

I'm also getting a haircut today, so I'm leaving work early. Maybe I'll get a jump start on grocery shopping. Then, I only have to drag J to BJ's tomorrow. I can't imagine her in the grocery store with all those people... she'll handle BJ's better. Plus, we can stare at the Christmas decorations. During Halloween, we spent 45 minutes staring at the huge inflatables. She LOVES the yard decorations, much to MH's dismay LOL

Andplusalso, MH is bringing home my MIL's homemade meatballs, sauce, and spaghetti for dinner. It's his great grandmother's recipe and it is hands-down the best spaghetti I have ever had. I can't wait!
