@voiletrose yes I'm showing way sooner with #2 (twins, so double reason to show I guess l!). I was able to hide the bump for 17/18 weeks with my first. I have a client meeting today and am trying to hide it, but it is kind of obvious... I'll probably announce later this week.

honda13, iris1264, mreve- I'm glad to hear I'm not alone. I don't think it's noticeable to random people, but MIL has been touching my belly so I know she sees something too. I gave up on real pants last week and dug out the pregnancy pants- so comfy!! Part of the reason I wanted to tell MIL and FIL was because of my belly- I'm sure they were thinking I was just putting on some weight. I'm not one of those cute girls with a perfectly round bump- I get wider too

Add me to the post-dinner vomit club. Worst part is I literally had just taken my Unisom and now I don't know if it's still in my stomach or if I should take more.
I was feeling pretty good and the today the nausea hit hard again. I feel like I have a brick sitting in my stomach that just wants to come up. And the gas. Good grief it is terrible!!!!

I had forgotten how much my cat loves me when I'm pregnant. As soon as I sit down on the couch, he's in my lap and doesn't move for hours. When I'm not pregnant, he will cruise by occasionally, but he doesn't stay very long. He's going to be pissed when there's a screaming baby in my lap, lol.

It looks like I am about 4 days behind you, and I have been feeling a lot better the past 2-3 days or so. I hope this isn't in my future. I feel like I am on the downward wave.

My knees feel all loosey-goosey tonight at tennis. Normal?
I think so. I seem to remember there is a hormone released throughout pregnancy that helps your muscles loosen so they can stretch for baby and eventually child birth. However, that means all your muscles are getting this hormone, not just the ones that need it. I had a lot of hip pain with dd and seem to remember this was why.

I'm convinced that my cat is trying to harm my baby. He literally catapults off furniture directly onto my belly. He knows what's in his future and it's not good

I stopped with the B6 and unisom because it wasn't helping. Seems like the gagging/heaving is getting worse. How is that even possible? Today was particularly bad. I've been in bed for 3 hours. I guess I'll be back to taking the pills. I thought at 12 weeks this would at least be letting up a tad. With DS it was totally over at 14 weeks! If this never stops ever I don't even know....

I am so sorry you are still feeling so miserable. Have you talked to your doctor at all about potentially having HG?

I haven't... Since I'm not physically puking I don't think I have it? I am so hoping it will get better over the next week or so but if not, it's coming up at the next appt. Yuck!

Zofran has taken away my nausea. I don't know if a doctor will prescribe it if you're not actually throwing up, but it may be worth a try! I take it as soon as I start feeling nauseous (it's as needed every 6 hours) and I feel better within 30 min.

The zofran definitely helps with nausea, but it can also make constipation a whole lot worse. I didn't have that particular side effect the first time around, but this time it's torture.
