This is our third, a boy, and we love the name Carson. My oldest is Kara (pronounced like "car"). Would it be weird to have a Kara, Gabriel, and Carson?
Since you have a Gabriel too I honestly wouldn't think much of it hearing all three names. If it was only Kara and Carson I'd assume you had a theme going. I like the name Carson!

Let's say Gabriel is a sleepover one day and you run into an old coworker and introduce them, "Oh, these are two of my kids, Kara and Carson." How dumb will you feel? Will you kind of cringe?
Personally, I wouldn't do it. I think it's equivalent to naming your next kid Gabriella. Plus, Carson isn't anything special in the name department in my opinion. You can do better.
Too matchy andplusalso, poor little Carson would be getting the short end of the naming stick in such a huge way. His siblings have lovely, classic names, Carson is trendy af.
