I'm so relieved! M is fine. The OT said she's just on a new growth curve, and as long as she maintains that curve there's nothing to worry about. We just go back to regular checkups with our family doctor.

Anyone score an awesome cyber Monday deal? I just ordered a Christmas dress and jeans for dd1 , new black shoes for dd2, socks for myself and dd3. I paid $26. Not too exciting, but all necessary and I'm thrilled with my deals.

NellieOleson I believe you asked about mittens. All my girls have very basic mittens from target. They are waterproof and I sometimes layer thin cotton mittens under them. Dd3 wears fleece mittens tucked into her jacket so they don't fall off. PDF
Definitely mastitis that is currently making me sick. F you world. I mean it could be the flu which would be way more suck, but this is also really not convenient. Also how did I go all this time with no problem and now suddenly out of nowhere I get it. It's not like anything changed. Grrr.

dizzycooks - I have tried target ones and they are all so huge on her! Her entire hand fits in the palm of the mitten. I finally found some this weekend at Carter's - they were 0-9 month size, but actually had a thumb, so they will work.

I do t use the thumb on any of my girls at this point. Dd1 is starting to get it and works with me to make it happen. Otherwise I don't have time for that. They manage.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. And how random that it popped up now?? I hope you get to feeling better soon!
Back from our tgiving and digging out at work. Did not enjoy the 24 hours of travel but the family time was ok. I decided not to visit the east coast for tgiving next year.... we will try for a summer trip. Lollipop great news!! kcrkcs feel better soon.
On a random note, they have some new scented candle: plug-in things at work and I'm pretty sure they are giving me a headache. I'm going to wait till tomorrow to see if it happens again and then I'll be the crazy that asks them to throw them all away......
Scented candle plug ins at work sounds ridiculous. I use a Scentsy at home, but that's not at all appropriate at work.
kcrkcs, I am so sorry honey. Get all the baby snuggles while you can and hope work goes easy on you too. scorpioscuba, yum pad thai! I haven't had that in so long. Might pick some up tomorrow. Lol at the doggie. "Please drop it on the floor baby E! You know you want to!" kelltothekell, glad the trip was successful! Sorry about your office, that sounds/smells gross and inconsiderate. I'd talk to someone about toning down the candles. If they were randomly in the wall around the building I'd just take them out myself haha. dizzycooks, yay for awesome deals! That always puts a smile on my face. NellieOleson, all of my shopping is done too! I went out Thursday night and over the weekend and have everything ready to be packed. Huge relief.
Kids and I went to library playgroup today, then out to lunch and I dropped DD off at preschool. DS and I cuddled and played for a few hours and then my mom came over. I went to pick up a few things at Walmart for Christmas. DH left for another trip this morning and he will be gone for at least a week. We're getting along ok now but I'm still relieved he is gone so I can focus on my to do list and get everything ready before we leave on vacation in a few weeks.

Sorry kcrkcs, hope you feel better soon. So cute dizzycooks! And so bundled. We were in a t-shirt and shorts today. Is she standing on her own now?
I'm so impressed with those of you who are done shopping. I've barely even started. I've been browsing things online but I'm just not inspired right now.

I'm on your bench. I have a few ideas for M, but other than Lego I have no freaking clue what to get for S. Or my parents, sister, brother in law, and husband. Heck, I don't even know what I want, and people keep asking for ideas.

Same. I don't think I really want anything. I've told our immediate family to make a donation on my behalf if they must do something. I don't feel like accumulating more stuff and there's nothing I need.

I'm so glad there's no pressure to do gifts for any adults in my family. The only adult I really have to shop for is my husband.

We started this last year with my family and it honestly made the holidays SO much more enjoyable! I was able to DO more fun things with DS and not worry about finding the perfect gifts for people. We just shop for the kids and of course I buy for H. It is awesome!SaveSave
I don't mind shopping for everyone. H and I take a day or two and knock it all out at once, and we get to hang out without the kids, so it's fun. Plus I love giving people presents. I just realized I missed a huge chunk of our list lol. H's side of the family. Oops.

There's stuff I want, it's just that it's either expensive enough that I don't feel comfortable asking for it, or it's something that takes time and research to decide on (a tattoo)

I've suggested this a few times with H's family and it's a no go. I wish they would get on board - not to sound ungrateful, but my MIL is a pretty bad gift giver. She does tons of bargain shopping (she calls the salvation army her nordstroms) and brings stuff for us basically every time we see her, but half of it we don't use. I've also suggested adopting a family to give gifts to but that's a no go too. Sigh.
Our family does a Yankee swap, where everyone brings a $30 gift, wraps it up, and puts it on a table. Then we pull numbers out of a hat and make a game of who gets what. It's fabulous because there are about 35 people in my immediate family, and I only need to spend $60 to shop for all of them! LOL! And all the people who have kids do a drawing and do a Secret Santa for other people's kids. I would die if I had to buy gifts for everyone.
NellieOleson - that sucks. Majorly sucks. I'm crying for you!!
