amberlie I hope you get some rest soon! Hopefully your DH has a few days off for the holiday and can help you get some more sleep.
Ugh unfortunately no. His coworker took off the week because his girlfriend's due date is Sunday (why?? Makes no sense). So DH has worked 13 hr days all week and will work tomorrow as well.
H was originally going to take the monitor last night, but we switched nights at the last minute because he ended up going out with friends. M STTN last night! I love that kid!
I've said it before, but it's still true. I'm so very thankful for you ladies. I hope everyone has a wonderful day with family. And I think our Canadian ladies should treat themselves to a delicious dessert as well!

Happy Thanksgiving all!
Up early to finish cleaning and breaking out the fancy shmancy china my sister should be here around noon, I'm so excited! I really love this holiday, even if it's a bit exhausting at times haha. Hope everyone has a fabulous day!
ampaints, The visit with my family is going great. Abigail is finally comfortable enough with them to really be herself and let them hold her and stuff. It always takes a few days for her to warm up.
Our plan today is to watch the Thanksgiving parade and then I have some cooking to do. I helped DH make pumpkin and apple pie last night. We were going to make a banana cream pie too but it turned out we were missing 2 ingredients. I'm going to go out and try to get those today and then try to get the pie made before company gets here. We'll see. I also have to make mashed sweet potatoes.
Oh, and yesterday Abigail started trying to sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. But she can only get the "Row" part, so she's walking around the house singing "Wo, Wo, Wo, Wo". It's pretty funny.

I haven't been on much recently, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Safe travels and happy eating to everyone! (And happy bargain hunting for all who Black Friday.)
We are headed to some friends' place for Thanksgiving this afternoon. They are making a turducken, roasted veggies, and a veggie stuffed squash, among other things. I'm bringing over cranberry relish, an apple pie and vanilla ice cream. I'm excited although I'll be missing mashed potatoes— my friend who is hosting is allergic, so they won't be on the table. I'll have to make some later in the weekend.
Poppy is really into saying "all done!" lately. This morning, she's also been playing with these two little Dutch kissing dolls we have. She puts them together so they are kissing, and says "mwah." It's super cute.
Kitchen and bathrooms clean plus Windows, 2nd load of laundry in and the mushrooms are in the Crock-Pot. I am working for my wine....and a chore free weekend!! Leaving lots of time to decorate and play.
Hi everyone! Hope everyone has a delicious and drama free Thanksgiving! It's been uneventful at FIL's house. His fiance is gorgeous and so sweet. They watched Evie last night while me and H had a date night and she said Evie wouldnt let her put her down.
In other news, my period was supposed to start Monday and it hasnt been more than a day late since i started tracking it in June. We only had sex once since my last period and that was last weekend so the chances are very very small.
M has been fighting napping like crazy. He slept for maybe 30 minutes. I've been pulling out all the tricks for the last 2 hours. Good thing I started drinking at 2. He's now asleep on me in an upstairs bedroom. I'm giving it a few before trying to put him down.
It was pretty good! I ran most of it but had some knee troubles. It felt so good to get out and be active. Looking forward to trying another race sometime soon.
