Going shopping with my mom today for thanksgiving stuff. I'm in charge of cooking the turkeys (2 ten pound suckers) and the cranberry relish. I've never cooked a turkey before, so this should be interesting. LO is still sleeping. She must be tired. Now, what to make for dinner tonight...

Tiring morning. Leo had his 2 yo pedi appt. Getting him to cooperate with the medical student and nurse tired me out. Dr was a pro. His iron level was even lower than his last check up. Luckily we can start giving him chewable vitamins. Now he can stop pretending to pop pills with me at night and take his own for real! His weight to height ratio is still higher than the dr wants...33lbs and 39 in. I actually thought he weighed more.
Other frustrating thing was my car kept acting up. It was so cold this morning, it did not want to start.
Plus I really need to pull out the winter coat for leo.

Alton browns recipe is my favorite.
Ooh I'll have to check that out. I love his scientific approach, it's how I like to cook. (Molecular biology major, switched to culinary after a year. Go fig lol)

That is why he is my favorite too, not the biology part, but the scientific approach! I would look for the episode that he did for the turkey in YouTube, he explains all of his steps so well.

Alton Brown is dh's favorite. We use his turkey recipe as well and it turns out amazing!
