AW/Vents/ Encounters this week: I really haven't had any encounters recently.
QOTW: Thanksgiving is this week for those of us in the U.S. Anyone celebrating with family or friends that are religious? Worries or concerns you want to bring up?i
We will be celebrating with my family. There will be praying before the meal, but that will be the extend of the religious talk I think (I hope). I usually just stare out the window during the prayer. It's always a little awkward but normally that's the only religious part of the day so it's not that bad.
Nothing this week. It's just going to the 3 of us for Thanksgiving, and we're staying in, so we're in the clear for any crazy family stuff. But religion doesn't really comes up with our families. Although my dad believes he's a religious man, he doesn't bother me about going to church or anything. At most, we'll sit through a pre-meal prayer at my FIL's, but that's not a big deal to us.

Sorry I haven't checked in here in a while. Haven't had any encounters.
We never travel to anyone for thanksgiving so our holiday is always pleasant with just the 3 of us. This year, it would probably be more awkward politically vs religiously actually if for some reason we did visit family. 0_o
