TTMA: gift bags for toddler parties...

D turns two in 3 weeks! I'm having a party for him with a bunch of kids between ages 1-9... mostly toddlers. Theme is Thomas the Train. What sorts of things should I be looking to put in the bags? So far, i found some wooden train whistles and bubble favors and lollipops, all train theme. What else should I get???

I think you're good with what you have. I mean, I guess you could toss in some stickers or something, but I think you're fine with those three items you listed.

Etsy always has some cute stuff. And if you're in a pinch, check Oriental Trading. For DS this year (he turned 3) we did dinosaur cloth bags (oriental trading) with dinosaur cookies (etsy), dinosaur bubbles (etsy), a mini stuffed dinosaur (oriental trading) and a small pack of play-do (party store). It was supposed to have homemade play-doh from etsy but the shit never showed up. Grrr. It was also supposed to have homemade dinosaur chocolate pops but Mommy never got her shit together on time. HAHA

I ended up going to Party City and buying Thomas the Train plastic gift bags. In it will be TT themed bubbles, wooden train whistles, paddle board, lollipop and a koosh ball. Hopefully everyone enjoys them!
