So I can't be 100% sure bc my MOTN memory is always a little hazy, but I think we had our second ever only one wake up night!!! (First one was at like 3 months old). I am fairly certain LO just woke up at 3 AM and that's it!!!! Woooo! Apparently talking about it a lot and wavering on doing anything is helpful. Lol.

I'm exhausted. We left Thursday a little before 6pm to drive as far as we could. We went from GA to NC and stopped around 12:30am to stay in a lodge. Then we started driving again at 9am and didn't get to my parents until 6pm, a whopping 24 hours after we left. Ugh. It felt like the longest drive ever. It should take normal people 13 hours give or take, so we spent close to 16 hours. With the kids having to stop all the time and reroutes because of accidents, it took foreverrrrr.
Yesterday was one of my high school friend's weddings, so H and I went to that while the kiddos stayed with my parents.
Then... get this.... we left at 5am this morning to drive back. We were originally going to leave tomorrow, but H claims he had to be at work tomorrow since he's in some ceremony Tuesday. So we got home a little before 7pm. So 14 hours.
I kind of want to sit in a corner, rocking myself with a glass of wine.

So I started a tradition when C was a baby to get a new ornament for each kid every year based on what they were interested in that year. I just found our ornaments for the year and C is so excited about his BB-8 ornament. I got A a baby's first Christmas elephant. I love this tradition and when the kids grow up and move out they can take all their ornaments with them and have a start to their first tree.
This is such a cute idea! May have to start something like that...just would have to make up for the last 2 years with DS
B has one nip that is always hard and the other one never is.
I know it's a weird question. I just don't know what to make of it.
Late but, I have honestly never thought to check this. Is this something I should be checking? Now I'm curious. lol.
Haha idk. I felt weird/creepy for even asking. It just has me perplexed. I'm going to ask the pedi @ her 9mo checkup but bc of the holidays it's not till after the 1st of the year. I'm sure it's nothing, but I needed internet stranger reassurance. 😉
