joy yea I'm pretty swooney over Rhett. DH likes the name but he is just a smidge put off because he knows a guy by that name. And Susannah is my 2nd fav girl name (Magnolia just can't make the cut for DH )

Love Susannah! I think that's your winner. Also prefer Johanna to Joanna. Rhett is NMS but a fine name. I know someone who uses it as a nn for Everett, if you're into that.
I like a lot of the names on your list. Cara, Joanna (although the one on your list is the more popular spelling, I do prefer the H), Lydia, Savannah, Eloise, Elodie. Rhett, and Nathaniel. When it comes to Rhett being popular, consider that the percentage of males (nationally) given the name in 2015 was 0.0659% compared to the top name, Noah 0.9626%.

I love Susannah! Rhett is one of those names where I just don't see the appeal but boys names are incredibly hard. If you both like it, that's awesome.

billyhorrible yeahhhhh. Pretty sure this baby's name is going to be Rhett. Lol. DH was not impressed with my list.
Even though I'm concerned with it popularity wise. I only know one guy with the name and it's the same dude DH knows. So I guess theoretically it's not THAT popular.
cabbagecabbage boys names are sooooo hard!!! The list is literally half as long.
Our son is lucky we found one name we both liked, no backups or top choices, literally one name. For our daughter we had lists and lists to whittle down and took our top picks to the hospital.

I like Susannah and DH like Joanna. I'm not sure if either of us can be persuaded to the other side so I tried to find more -ah ending names since that seemed to be the common theme.
