I know personally I'm still feeling a bit hesistant to be really excited about this pregnancy, which is influencing me in how much I post too. But it does seem to be a little quiet - I look forward for it to become a bit more lively over time!
i'm with you on this, I feel slightly better post betas this am, but will be a bit reserved until I get the next results
Yup, I'm here too. I'll feel better after our u/s, but that's not til the end of January.
+1 to the above. I was super active from the beginning in my last bmb and I just can't go through that again. I probably won't be super active until I hit my loss milestone at 14+ weeks, or maybe the 8wk u/s milestone of everything being normal will calm me enough.
Can I make a suggestion? MrsRC88 started this thread and she's not here anymore but I think she still gets notifications every time someone posts. (Unless she can turn it off, I haven't figured out how to do that for a specific post). If she's still getting notifications with every post, that must be heartbreaking. Should we start another thread?
I started this one 😉 mrsrc started the synptoms thread. But we can make a new one of either!
addymac , great idea, however I do not get notifications for threads I start, only if tagged or quoted?
Aye I think you're right Pepper. IIRC you have to actively bookmark a thread you started in order to get áll updates - otherwise tis just the tags and quotes, I think. Although it may be different on tapatalk?

Hi Everyone! I am just barely sneaking into August with a 8/31 EDD. I will probably spend a little time in September though too.
How far along are you? 3w+6
EDD if you know it? 8/31 by LMP but 9/2 by O date.
Any appointments coming up? Nothing yet. I will schedule one soon.
Anything you're stressing over? Telling DH! Yes, I haven't told him yet. He is horrible at keeping secrets and I have to decide today if I want to tell him this afternoon or wait until Christmas Eve. I don't want him to tell my family when we see them on Christmas Eve morning. It's so early but there is also another family member TTC and I don't want to break the news on the holiday. Also, he proposed to me on Christmas eve so in a way it would be a great time to tell him.
Just general info about yourself! I'm 31 and have a DS (March '15) and a 10yo step-son. We've been TTC for about 9 months now so I am over the moon. I love running, eating, and reading. I'm excited to be here and get to know you all.

Hi, all! I'm slowly getting more confident that I'm actually pregnant and that these lines haven't all been false positives trying to mess with me. I've been stalking you for a couple weeks now, so I suppose it's about time that I intro.
How far along: 4 weeks today
EDD: 8/30
Appt: Not until the end of January. It's forever away.
Stressing Over: Nothing and everything? There's nothing huge, but I've had two CPs in the past, so I'm constantly nervous.
About me: I'm 33 and have an almost 4 year old and a 1.5 year old. We're moving to a new state in July, which was already stressing me out. Now adding a pregnancy and soon-after new baby to the mix is making me think DH and I are crazy.
How far along: the stick is still wet EDD: 8/29 Appointments: nope just found out today so... Symptoms/nerves: no, it just feels surreal right now. GTKY: dh and I were married in 2012, have a daughter who is 19months, I'm a May '15 mom. We are pretty excited!
I'm a May 15 mom too! Though I mostly lurked on that BMB.

Hey girl hey! I felt active on the board but in comparison with the others I was probably more of a pop in. I like participating, but I'm more of a every couple days check in type. Is moving your 19m out of a crib a thought for you yet? I'm thinking our gal is ready.

copilot2012 Hell no! I like him contained. I'm going to keep him in a crib until he climbs out (or tries to). This is almost the age we had to switch my daughter and, though she did really well, it was still a pain to totally babyproof her room and to try to convince her to actually sleep in her bed still. We ended up just letting her do whatever she wanted in her room until she passed out - there were a lot of naps and nights that she spent on the floor or in the glider.

+1 to this. DS (will be 2 in March) was close enough to climbing out that we moved him to a toddler bed. It has actually went smoother than we thought be we do have to lay down with him to get him to fall asleep. On a good night it might be 10 minutes. Last night I laid with him for 30 though. Keep the crib as long as you can.
DS turned 2 last month and is still in his crib. He has yet to try and climb out of it, in fact he only tries to climb INTO it! The only reason I'm thinking of switching to a toddler bed soon is because we're planning on potty training in the next month or so.
How far along are you? 7+1 based on LMP / 6+3 based on O date
EDD if you know it? 8/8 or 8/13.. but I know my Dr will go by LMP unless it's more than a week off. 🙄
Any appointments coming up? 12/29... cannot come fast enough!
Anything you're stressing over? PGAL brain is so real, I hate it. I had a full on meltdown last night to DH about how I feel like a terrible parent bc I am not excited, I'm not happy, I'm just scared. How I forgot my PNV for two days in a row and now I bet our baby will have a neural tube defect. And today I ate a piece of ham. And how I'm worried we should have waited until after our loss' due date in February bc I don't know how to juggle being newly pregnant again when I'm still struggling with not being in my third trimester.
I hope it gets better with the ultrasound next week.
Just general info about yourself! I'm 30, a NICU RN on night shift, my DH is a 4th year medical student applying to residency programs. I love to eat but am not a big fan of cooking, I'm desperately trying to maintain some sort of exercise in this frozen cold of the Midwest, and I watch way more tv than is healthy, haha.

addymac - I completely get where you are coming from, but your worrying makes you a GOOD parent, not a bad one. The 29th is so soon! Hopefully seeing your baby will help.
What is your H applying for residency in? Mine is in his last year of his (finally!!)
Crap... I forgot to do this form thingy. What can I say...I hate forms and love rosters.
How Far Along: 4 weeks and some amount of days I am too lazy to calculate
EDD: I'm going with 8/27 but LMP would be 8/29.
Anything you're stressing over? I try not to. I stay a bit detached early on as self preservation.
General info about yourself: I have a 15 month old son and it seems weird to dive back in with a new one. I don't feel qualified to have two of these things. I can barely operate the one. Also, I hate Facebook groups, so please don't turn into one like my old BMB.
EDD? August 23rd. Each of my first two had late month EDDs and were born the following month, but this one WILL NOT MISS the September 1st school cut off, so I'm here.
Appointments: I got my referral (yay HMO) but haven't called to schedule the actual first visit yet. I wonder if they'll be manning the phones on Monday.
Anything you're stressing over? Quitting work again. I was hoping to be in this boat a year ago, but it started looking like it wasn't going to happen, so I took on more work. Then, literally the day after I tell one of the new jobs I took on I wasn't sure it was a good fit for completely different reasons, BAM, BFP. We are going to have a very different conversation in January than I thought we were going to have because I'm out. I took a full year off with each of my first two, and I'm doing it again for this one. There will be no teaching next school year.
General Info: I started on the bump way back in June 2012, then got into Cloth Diapering, then August 2014, then the thing happened, came here in cloth diapers again, but then life and work and busy and I lurked away. Oh, and I get to be AMA this go around. Fun times!

Hi everyone! I'm a little shocked to be joining a pregnancy board again. This will be my 3rd child (4th pregnancy). Due date should be August 22nd. My husband and I have been discussing having a third, but we were going to wait until later 2017. Surprise!! I have been adjusting to the shock of this pregnancy since I found out last weekend. First OB appointment should be January 9th. I look forward to getting to know everyone better over the next several months!

Hi everyone! I'm nutmeg and no longer a dirty lurker.
How far along are you? A little over 7 weeks, I think, based on an early U/S.
EDD if you know it? Not yet Any appointments coming up? I have a repeat U/S on Friday. I had one on the 15th and the gestational sac and fetal pole were measuring about 6 weeks. No heartbeat was seen, so we are going back to hopefully see one.
Anything you're stressing over? Just the Heartbeat thing. Not really stressing, though. Just preparing myself for either outcome. I'm currently trying to talk H into a couples getaway if things don't go well.
Just general info about yourself! H and I have been together for 9 1/2 years. My IF history is spoilered below. It took 3 years and our DD was born in July '15. She is the most incredible little person I have ever met. This baby, currently residing in my ute, was a complete surprise. We were on the books for a FET in January. I usually hang out on SAIF and J'15 and I hope that this board will be as full of support as they are. I love to read. Mostly YA, sometimes romance so if you ever need any recommendations I'm full of them. I love to craft (knit, crochet, sewing and quilting)and I would rather watch animated movies than real people movies.

I was a march 2014 mom on thebump and since finding out about this pregnancy I tried to go back there. YAWN.
So was told about this one! I hope to get to know you all and share this journey
I am still very active with march14 however we moved over to Facebook.
I am 6 weeks and change. I had an ultrasound and blood work last week and am now awaiting a call from the specialist. I have a short cervix and delivered my son at 33 weeks, so we need to get started with some preventative care this time.
I am in Alberta so things are done a bit differently here I think. That's what I'm stressing over!!
I am 28 and live in Alberta with my husband and almost 3yo. I am originally from New Zealand. My husband works in the oilfield so it's very lonely around these parts while he's on shift. He's usually two weeks gone, one week home.
Any appointments coming up? Not till January 18th, feels so far away.
Anything you're stressing over? Just hoping everything is okay. I will be 39 in March so my age is constantly a factor in the back of my mind.
Just general info about yourself! I have been married 4 years and with MH for 10! I have a DD who is 2 and is so much fun right now. I'm already feeling so nauseous which is harder this time around with a toddler. I spend most of my time here with my ladies in S14 and pop in here and there over at Parenting.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and wish everyone healthy pregnancies!
How far along? According to LMP I should be 8 weeks but today's u/s showed 6w4d
Appointments upcoming: I go back in two weeks for another u/s.
EDD: 8/18
Stressing: baby's size- heartbeat was great and docs didn't seem worried but I'm pretty sure I know when I ovulated so I was shocked at how far "off" I was! I also have a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst they want to monitor- I don't really know what this means and dr Google didn't have a ton of info- which I guess is good
General info: I have a 2year old and have been married for 6 years. Im admittedly more of a lurker but will jump in and post when I have advice that hasn't been said.
Stressing: Oh boy...I am a carrier for DMD, so I am very stressed over the sex of the baby. If it is a girl, then no worries, if it is a boy then I will worry. This was a surprise pregnancy as I went through 4 rounds of IVF/PGD that did not produce a viable embryo. Each time it was an embryo that had some chromosome abnormality. Sadly they were abnormalities that would most likely not allow for a pregnancy that would last too long. Saying lots of prayers that this is a healthy baby.
General info: I have been married for 6 years and we have a 4 year old little girl.

Mine is a surprise pregnancy after IVF too. I have so many feeling about it and I'm wishing you the best of luck that the baby is healthy.
Will you be doing the NIPT testing to screen for abnormalities and find out the sex? good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow!
ETA: NIPT testing can be done starting at 9 weeks. I would push for it if your DR doesn't routinely offer it.

Hi everyone! I've been a lurker, but thought it'd be nicer to participate!
I'm currently 6 weeks, 1 day. Due August 23rd. My first appt isn't until Jan 24. Not really stressing, just exhausted.
About me, I am a SAHM to my 2 year old DS. We live in MD currently but we tend to move every few years as DH is in the military. I love all things Beatles, Harry Potter and reality tv. I do also read a lot to balance out the brain rot from watching too much Real Housewives and TLC.
