Solidarity hugs to everyone who's sore and/or emotional, I'm with you. DS was being crazy this afternoon so we walked around the block which made my body ache so much and didn't calm him at all so I texted DH begging him to come home early if at all possible because I was in tears again. I can't deal with this nap strike anymore.
If there is a baby #3 I am determined to be in better shape before getting KTFU. My body just cant take this shit. Good thing these little stinkers are totally worth it!
C fell asleep on the couch, in between my H and I. He never does that and isnt much of a cuddler so we totally soaked if up. We also managed to change his diaper and put pyjamas on him without waking him up. Nearly pissed ourselves laughing though.
glb30 yikes! I would have had a melt down too. That is way too much going on at once for me. I hope you get a day to yourself to reenergize one day soon.
Thanks for this! I was thinking of the Chicco key fit and now I'm sold.
If only those prices were in Canadian dollars. Lol. It's going for $300 here.
Edited typo
Yikes! We have the KeyFit from our last pregnancy and it's just been sitting around - I don't recall doing much research first time around so I'm glad it popped up on this list as a top suggestion!

I think being is shape does help, but there's always pregnant crap. Lol.
Like, I'm in way better shape that with my first pregnancy and I still have pelvic pains. :/

That would be just my luck. Believe in myself just enough to handle 3 kids and I end up with a surprise 4th. Ill take what the universe hands me but with a healthy dose of skepticism in my ability to deal with it lol. Also, to actually get in shape and then carry twins. Oooof, I dont think anything can prepare me physically for that. You're a goddess!

Yes/yes?
YES!
I will say that my running/speed walking while pushing or carrying DS and really helped my breathing. I haven't really had any shortness of breath this time. But the sciatica and pelvic stuff seems unavoidable for most of us....

A nurse practitioner at my OB's office told me that no matter how in shape you are prior to pregnancy, a subsequent pregnancy is going to be harder physically because your ligaments and shit can't really be exercised the same way that the rest of your core can be, and they are going to be weaker starting off.

I can definitely see this. I wasn't quite where I was fitness wise prior to my first pregnancy but I was refereeing soccer tournaments a month before getting pregnant this time and running until I was too sick in first tri but I'm still really sore.

That makes sense, especially in the bladder control department. It seems like no matter how many kegals I do it's not enough.

Shortness of breath is my life right now. Im carrying pretty high though so I think lung capacity is seriously diminished. Thats my excuse anyway. Not the roughly 100lbs of extra self im carrying around

This definitely makes sense. Also reaffirms my choice to worry about the weight when Im done having babies.
