What about the grown ups? (more holiday shopping)

We talked about what we're getting the LOs. What are you getting for the adults in your life? I have no idea what to get for H. Or my ILs.

I bought dh some ski passes. He bought himself a fitness tracker watch. We got concert tickets for a festival next summer. Other than that nothing. I feel bad, I know he bought me something else, but I wish he hadn't. I just don't want to spend the money and there's nothing really that we need.
Ils will probably get a meat package, new flannel shirt, will dryer balls and a corn heat bag.
My parents...no idea.

I only have to shop for H. He loves to bbq and especially loves using his Weber Kettle grill. He has the standard size which is usually not big enough if we want to grill a protein and our veggies, etc so he'll have the gas grill going as well. So I bought him the big 26" Weber Kettle grill. I do not know how I'm going to hide this thing until Christmas when it shows up. Also, I'm praying I get advance notice as to it's delivery so he does not see it. I possibly should have planned better and had it delivered to my parents house.

I'm going to be making my Peppermint Bark (just like the Williams Sonoma version) for gifts to give to family and friends.

I only shop for my H as well. So far I have a PS2, a couple shirts, and a book. I will probably try to find one more thing for him, but he is super hard to shop for...

NellieOleson, have you seen the American Giant hoodies? I know it sounds super random but on a whim I bought one for my H last year. He is super hard to buy for too. And he LOVES it. I never thought he'd care about a hoodie before but they are very well made, comfy and have a more tailored look so they aren't sloppy looking.

Every year I dread buying for my parents, his dad and girlfriend, and his sister and her husband. My SIL is not into the just buy for the kid's thing so we are stuck there.

I think FIL and girlfriend are getting a gift card to a restaurant. They usually give us a gift card to somewhere. We exchange gift cards. I hate it.

My parents are a little easier. Probably a charm for my mom's bracelet and H has an idea for something my dad needs for hunting.

I hate shopping for my in-laws. I hate it so much.

My ILs said not to get then anything, but we'll probably get them dinner theater tickets, like we usually do. I hate not getting anything for people, especially when they get stuff for us. For my mom we're getting her some clothes, my sister is getting makeup, I have no idea what we're getting my dad, BILs or SIL. I'm hoping to get H the NES mini. If I can't find one of those I don't know what I'll get him. Plus I'll let S pick something put for H from him and M

Cookbook - which he always gets me.

I'd like to give him a few more ideas/options, but I'm having a hard time coming up with things...

Ah crap! kelltothekell you just reminded me I have to get something for my BFF and her H. I'm making a stocking for her baby, but I'm not sure what to get them.

NellieOleson my list is short. There's not much I want.

- a spa package I saw, includes massage and mani/pedi

- an essential oil diffuser, but the ones I like the look of are kind of expensive

- and an electric foot warmer thing.

That's it. H usually surprises me, and from S he usually gets me a charm for my Pandora bracelet.

Actually, I should get my H some luggage. His is this vintage suitcase called Lady Baltimore. I can't tell you how annoying it is to have him carry that stupid thing through the airport.

kelltothekell I forgot about daycare! I want to get something for the women in the infant room as well as his new room. I know he has 2 main teachers everyday, but then there's always someone else in the afternoon and not always the same person. I feel weird only getting things for the 2 main teachers, but I don't know who these other women are.

I give my assistants cash. I do give them our family's holiday card so that it's more personal, but tbh I think they like cash the best.

NellieOleson, that suitcase is super impractical, but I also love the looks of those.
I've been wanting a nice weekender for myself but I can never find anything that I like the looks of that's in my price range.

I bought myself a new jacket and a pair of earrings for H to give me. Not sure what else he'll get me, if anything. What I would really like is new living room furniture.

H needs a new phone, but he hasn't determined what kind he wants and I feel like it's the type of thing he should pick out for himself. But maybe I should just surprise him with something...

Do I need to get him something from the baby?

My dad and MIL are still a mystery.
I asked for contributions towards the down jacket I want for work, winter boots, and a new riding helmet.

I think I'm going to get H a bundle of massages and a bundle of foot detox. Maybe a FR hoodie or 2. I'm not asking for anything from him because I've spent about $350 in the last few months on LLR, DD1 got 4 items herself out of that.
My dad is getting an electric razor and my mom a GC to a LLR party. The in laws just got a new snow thrower.

My mom and sister are getting shirts and earrings from Anthropologie, which is our favorite store ever, and framed photos.
My dad is getting liquor and framed photos.
My great aunt is getting teas and framed photos.
My BFF and her H are getting a nativity set and mini holiday mixer set and framed photos.
IL's are getting a large gift basket and framed photos.
DD's teachers and the cleaning lady are getting small gift baskets.
H and I agreed not to get each other anything because DH is already paying for vacation the week before Christmas and buying hockey equipment (?!?!?!?!)
