My FIL left this morning but mil is still here. I have no idea what we are going to do today. Or tomorrow.
It seems like we are in the hunt for a new car... Not exactly how I want to spend money but it seems more and more prudent. My car keeps having issues.

Up and down morning here. Had lots of fun painting Christmas themed snowcatchers - I think G really enjoyed the three dimensional aspect compared to regular painting. Otherwise he's wanted to nurse all morning long so I haven't been productive at all.
aggiebug don't test drive a minivan if you don't want one cause they're the best ;-)
I actually think H should test drive one. It not my ideal car but I think there are a lot of pros. You can get so much more for your money too. It doesn't help that he is incredibly brand loyal and gm doesn't have a minivan.
aggiebug and lilyelayne we were thinking mini van for next car (I like them). But we are hoping H's car holds out a while bc we liking this no car payment thing! Plus, I'm not sure we need such a big car with only 2 children. I like my Santa Fe!
The girls and I are making christmas sugar cookies today! It is so much fun...and messy! Next we are going to frost them but I'm going to do that when A naps...she is already covered in flour and food coloring.

Doing a paint test tonight to touch up the living room. Maybe just will change the color now rather than later. Why H has started putting up pictures already?

aggiebugdreemkin I feel silly sometimes driving a minivan with one kid, but it was the right deal at the right time. Even if we only end up with 2 kids ourselves, I've got 2 nephews in town that I tote around, and with kids being in car seats / boosters for the first decade-ish... the space is great. And it may be worth it just for how many times a year we drive to the beach. 17 days til our next trip!

DS has discovered babies. He found his baby doll hosting great-grandmother gave him last year and insisted it needed to both be in a sleep sack (luckily we had a smaller one in his dresser) and sleep in his bed. He was patting it to sleep as I was rubbing his back.
