@enchanted - I want to send you all the healing vibes I can muster. Your poor house! FX everyone is well next week! And I'm glad there wasn't any fear of Santa
Age: 3.5 (when do I go to the School-Aged check-in?)
Milestones: She packs her own snack in the morning now. One less thing for Mommy and Daddy to do!
Challenges: She wants to watch something on Daddy's tablet instead of reading a story at bedtime. She get some screen time at night after dinner, usually about 30-60 minutes for either a cartoon or some Christmas special. But MH let her watch one 5 minute video one night and now it's a major meltdown over the tablet v. a book. Ugh.
Funny/cute stories: Long story short, she asked me if Daddy looked the same, um, down there as she and I do. I said, no. She kept asking what he, um, looked like (MH wears a towel or underwear around J). MH peeked his head out of the bathroom and said, "She asked me this in the car yesterday... I figured I'd leave it for you." Thanks, man.
How are you? Tired. Busy. You know, typical mom stuff.
Anything else? Counting the days to Christmas! We have so much to do this weekend, or at least it feels that way. I just want to get through this month so I can officially start focusing on other things at my house.
QOTW: Oh, yeah, we do Santa Claus. We've gotten a picture with Santa every year. Year one she was about 6 months old and didn't cry at all; year two at 1.5 she FREAKED OUT big time (LOL); year three at 2.5 she was so excited; and this year she was THRILLED to see Santa! Her pictures are so cute. I kind of want to share the progression now that I think about it LOL
