Friday...yah its friday before christmas..

OKAY so its Friday before Christmas and well I wish I could say I was at the labor and delivery department of my hospital..but I AM NOT. We have like 4 bench warmers now...

I would say that I was in great spirits but alas I am moping again..as my DH would say it. I have now just said okay fine you want to be a Jan 17' baby FINE! Will I continue to eat my dates, take primrose and all that other good stuff, probably..but I am going to just try and enjoy the holidays with my family this weekend. Work all next week and at least I know that I will be induced first week of Jan 2017. NOT IDEA..but it is what it is.

Oh I did DTD with DH this morning and then he said so nicely "I know you only did this to get the baby out.." I almost chopped him in the throat because it was actually a nice experience that he just had to crap on with his negative take. *sigh* And if I didn't dtd till labor and we had to wait 6w he would be whinning...I give up.

Last day of work! I am legit about to cry, I can't believe I made it. My 40 week appointment is this afternoon, we'll see if anything is going on then. I'm hoping for some sort of progress. The cat snuggled up next to me all night, I wonder if he knows something I don't, he never snuggles at night.

I had the stupid idea earlier this week to take the kids shopping today for each others gifts (we give them a price limit and let them buy something for each other). My thinking was that H would be home so we could all go together and split up. Also, today is the kids first day off of school.

I forgot that shopping 2 days before Christmas is a guaranteed nightmare -- and if we're out of school, so is everyone else. Me from today thinks Me from a week ago is an idiot.

I have so much to do today. Santa comes here tonight, and I need to finish wrapping presents, get this house is some sort of order so the chaos that tomorrow AM will bring won't add more crap on top of the crap that my house already is. I still need to bake cookies because I haven't made a single one, and cookies for Santa are kind of expected. I also need to pack me, Cora and the older kids crap to go to The Devil's house (I mean, my MIL's). Hopefully Cora will nap on H during most of it since she will not tolerate being put down for most of her naps and Mama has stuff to do!

Still warming the bench here. Presents are all wrapped. I finished hemming the curtains in the nursery. I am ready but also getting used to the fact I might have a Jan 17 baby.
Still need to go to the store for dates but I've been popping the EPO and I have a lunch date with my step-mom for Thai food. Bring on the spicy food!!

@cahistoryteacher, animals can tell a lot! I hope so! Keep us updated on progress with your Dr appt today! I am jeally your done working right till baby gets here?

sdgal, haha yes EPO and spicy for the win. I am sitting here forcing dates..cause I really am not a fan but they might help and well they can help with other issues I am having so what the hell!

requiressnacks, There are some magical dates where you have to be special enough to be born on them..we obviously don't fit that criteria..LMAO..JK, that is your day we wanted you to shine!

We celebrate Christmas eve. My sister is hosting and the rest of us will show up in the morning to help out. We make tamales. Christmas day we'll spend visiting extended family.

Dh is home today. Prob just help clean the house and give me some free time to make some calls. I'm also still waiting on gifts to arrive...fedex better hurry up.

Wondering what this is?! It's a pair of sweatpants that he decided to throw into the small bathroom trash can. Why did he throw the sweatpants away? Who knows!! What I do know is that they are taking up the entire trash can and he hasn't emptied it in 24 hours despite my request. And of course nothing else fits in the trashcan now because it's filled with mystery garbage pants.

Ugh....releasing to the universe now.

I used my jogging stroller for the first time yesterday! It handles so much better than the frame stroller. And the babies nap the whole time because they are laying flat.

requiressnacks ugh! So annoying. DH will change a diaper, throw it on the floor and leave it there! I'm so sick of it. So I took that and DS2's pjs he left on the floor and threw them in a pile of his clothes next to his side of the bed.
And now with the pink snowsuit, I'm thinking of Ralphie and the pink bunny suit in A Christmas Story. Hahaha!!

I braved BJs this am and had to return some socks that were too big for baby at BRU. DH asked who I was taking with me. Nobody! The same as you when you go to soccer every week. I don't care your games are at night. The answer is I can handle all 3 every day, so get over it.

Not much planned today. Going to decorate a gingerbread house with the DS1 and DS2 after he gets up from his nap. I think I see some wine in my future tonight.
