I'm looking at getting a doppler. What brand do y'all recommend?
I got the $40 one that they were selling on Amazon. It isn't Sonoline, it's an off brand but had good reviews. Don't rely on the hb rate on the screen, it was never right, but it picked up the hb just fine.

@jennycat. Haha, I did one of those classes. The blanket and pillow honestly was just to make you more comfy on the floor. So whatever pillow you want for under your head. My class had lots of positioning supplies that they passed around and had us try (like a yoga ball and other stuff that had available in l&d at the hospital I delivered).

yoshijo28 piggy backing on ketchup's response, there are a lot of YouTube videos for using a Doppler. Baby was waaay lower than I thought initially so if I hadn't watched the videos, I would've been looking in the wrong spot. I had to push down quite a bit and angle it into my pelvis at first (about 10 weeks).
This is going to seem like a random question: did any of you go to one of those childbirth classes where you bring pillows and a blanket? We have one next week and I'm like "what size blanket? Any type of pillows? Give me specifics!"
For ours they recommended that we bring pillows and blankets to make ourselves comfortable. Our class was in a yoga studio after hours so having the blanket/pillows gave us a more comfy place to sit. They had some available at the studio too.
., MellyKnu, @ketchup, fightersince83tikoberry99 thanks for your advice, it definately helps! I have no idea how to use it so I'll check out those videos.
I have my sonoline B from 2014 and have loaned it out to 3 friends. It still works great for my friends. Quality doppler A friend has it now and it has helped her tremendously.

I just bought the best cradle belt. It hasn't arrived yet so I can't say how it works. It is pretty hardcore it goes over your shoulders and crosses at the chest.

Thank you! I think I am ready for hardcore at this point, I've got to get some of these tasks done while I can!

The triplet mamas recommended it so I think it's probably one of the better options out there
