Checked out daycare number 2 today. It's really nice and I loved the two infant teachers we met. But they require a 3 day minimum and I only want to work 2 days. So I don't know if I want to pay more for daycare just because I like it when I could pay less at a place that doesn't require 3 days. There's a few left on my list yet so we'll see.
I would use that third day for a "you" day, but that's just me. Run errands, clean the house, have kid free time.

W, That's far too much clothing. There is legit panic that runs through my household when there's an unexpected knock on the door. I basically live in underwear and a bra when I'm home. H usually just wears sweatpants. DS will stay dressed until he decides he is over wearing pants. Then he pretends to go to the bathroom so he can strip off his pants and underwear and refuses to put them back on.

I've been eating all the sushi and all the cold cuts this pregnancy. I have nothing diabetic-friendly for work lunches without cold cuts. Also have had runny eggs and store-bought hummus and we eat bagged salad mix every week.
I mean, when freaking eggo waffles are recalled for listeria, nothing is safe. You might as well just eat things.
I don't have any new stretch marks with this pregnancy, but now I have lovely insulin injection bruises all over my belly. They don't hurt but the midwife and the nurse doing my NST both gasped when they saw them.
this maternity leave has made me feel so incredibly lazy. I even had dreams of going back to work last night.
I'm going to be terrible at maternity leave. I don't do well without a routine...it triggers my depression big time. It's even been hard being off this week, even though I'm technically WFM. I'm glad I'm only taking 6 weeks when baby comes.
The stretch marks will most likely fade away. I found the palmer's belly butter worked pretty good at helping getting enough moisture to shrink and lighten them. They never fully disappeared but they didn't look as bad PP as they did when I was pregnant with DS1
I'm not looking forward to the bruising from the lovenox injections again... it took a month for them fade away once I finished the regimen.
I really need to see about getting medical accommodation for parking... they make us walk up this hill to get to the shuttle that takes us to the remote lot. I have to deal with smokers, un-salted walkways and un-salted lots. It's totally not a pleasant experience and it wouldn't be an issue if they finished the construction on the bus turnaround back in October like they were supposed to...

Picked out paint swatches for baby's room today! Which one do you guys like?? (The white is for comparison...our baseboards and the built-in bookshelf are white.)
Carpet is brownish/tan. Furniture will probably be an espresso stained wood. I'm going for neutrals with a Neverland/Peter Pan theme. These are my inspiration pins:

Um, yes. Do this ASAP.
I need a doctor's note but am hoping I can get one tomorrow at my MFM appointment. If not, I have a MW app in 2 weeks where I'll basically beg for one.

I've been on leave since 12/3...let's just say it's not uncommon for me to go to bed at 3am and wake at 1pm...I try to be productive but the damn Breaking Bad marathon on AMC is killing all productivity.
This is what I would do if I didn't have my job. The 6 months when I only worked for my company and didn't have a big girl job after college, this was a regular occurrence.

I have work to do and I don't want to do it. I really should have just stayed at work longer and gotten it done but MH throws a hissy fit when I'm not home for dinner.
You're doing Peter Pan too?! That's so awesome!! We should share Pinterest boards!! I started mine when I was pregnant with Emmett, so I've had plenty of time to find all the cuteness. 😊

Yes I should come stalk your Pinterest. I have one wall I'm not entirely sure on what I'm doing, I also was looking for a neverland decal for the other side of my clock tower but I'm skipping that. I bought two prints at Disney this year so they will go up. I had my mom and grandmother put together a Peter Pan puzzle together to go on one wall as well.

How fun! I want to see pics when it's all done!! I haven't bought anything yet because I have a specific vision in mind depending on if we have a girl or boy. I have a feeling after Saturday I'll be spending some $$.

Yeah I was thinking boy so I had to rearrange all of my thoughts and go more tinkerbell/fairy. So I bought a "house" for Tink and will add:
I'm not looking forward to maternity leave... I get 7 months (definitely not taking them all!) but I need the adult conversations i get by being at work. I am not a fan of the newborn stage. I'd rather send them to daycare for the first three months then take months 3-6 off...
I am excited for maternity leave. Mostly because H and I will both get 12 weeks, so there'll be a lot of time for us to figure out being a family of three. I also need routine, but I prefer to create my own anyway. Which is good, since we're now contemplating me staying at home.
Those Peter Pan nursery plans are so cute! We're just doing owls and dogs as our "theme."

I will trade jobs with you. I get 12 weeks max. Although I'm sure I'll be itching to get back at 6-9 weeks. I really would like to go back part time but my position won't allow it.
