What gifts were the biggest hits with your Feb 13 kiddo? Ours was a Razor scooter, a Hot Wheels track, this piano with a microphone and all kinds of stuff on it and kinetic rock sand construction thing.

We have a friend who says his 3 year-old is, of course, too young for minecraft but that he loves it and does it all the time. What age is best? I'm not really anxious to get started...
DS (Sept 14) got a trolley from Daniel Tiger, a Pup Pad, and a large cardboard pirate ship (to both kids) and he has taken over the pirate ship, loves the trolley, and takes the pup pad everywhere. DD (Feb) is just less into toys. She has been enjoying Frozen the book and was happy to get a small doll house style castle with princesses and some other figures, but DS has probably played with it more. Today she is a gymnastics camp and she really liked doing Christmas crafts this week. She enjoyed playing with some bath blocks DS got and they both like the Gup E that goes in the bath from Octonauts. But DD just enjoys being engaged, reading, friends, and doing things more than toys, I think.
colinsfebmommy, those toys sound fun--tell me more! We have a scooter that is a little less advanced (3 wheels) than the razor and DD loves it but we end up using the balance bike more because it goes on bumpier surfaces. Plus it's winter so we haven't used it much, but I hope some of her friends get them because that will probably motivate us to use it more.

Oh, but she asked Santa for some unicorn slippers and got some. She hasn't taken them off. She needs some for school too, so maybe I'll have to get another pair. She doesn't usually wear slippers at home but I guess she's been wanting to.

Playmobil preschool. She loves playing with baby stuff, especially playmobil kids and babies, so it was perfect for her. She was really ticked off that dd1 got a playmobil playground that she wanted.
DD got a Doc McStuffins mobile clinic that she's been playing with a lot. She also excited about her Frozen dvd and the Elsa and Anna dolls my parents got her. She hasn't quite figured out how to play with the dolls yet though. Mostly right now she looks at them and puts on/takes off their shoes and adjusts their clothes. I need to show her how she can use them for pretend play.
The big hit for DS was his cement mixer and construction guy with accessories. He is also very excited about a stuffed garbage truck pillow my brother got him (the boy is obsessed with garbage trucks!).
Biggest hits: batsman/super man imaginext play set, remote control car, toy grill, TMNT figures and motorcycle.
The kids also got a car they can drive and they are so so so wanting to use it. It's been rainy so we can't go outside but it was ok today and supposed to be nice tomorrow so I think we will take it out then.

Feb child is obsessed with Star Wars and got a Yoda that talks and swings a light saber. Yoda reacts to you "using" the force on him. It's pretty sweet. He also got a millennium falcon play set.
DD got a bike (with training wheels) from my IL's that she loves. The weather has been decent enough for her to be out on it 3 times already. She also really likes her puzzles and new craft stuff she got, although we haven't been able to do much of it yet because I can't get them out while my destructive DS is awake.
DS is harder to tell what he loves since his attention span is shorter and mostly likes to run around the house scattering items everywhere, or trying to do whatever DD is doing 😜 He likes his new garbage truck, and various cars he got. I'm mostly loving that he got some new clothes and shoes that he really needed so I don't have to buy them!

DS has been loving his Brüder crane truck, remote controlled excavator, and Star Wars toys (Millennium Falcon, Imperial Walker, and lots of characters)!

DD1 (Jan '13) got soo much. Most favorite would be the huge doll house and the billion barbies. DD2 (Dec '15) didn't get quite as much, her favorite is anything her sister is playing with. Hahahaha.

Dd1 got ice skates so not so exciting for her lol. She got a peppa pig doll and Minnie Mouse bingo which she is loving. Oh and those stupid little shopkins.
Dd2 got some trains which she really liked and a shopping cart. Now they both have whatbwe call hobo carts. They got a joint easel which they are having fun with. Tricky though since dd2 is really into painting hands and feet and well her whole body.
