Today's ultrasound had the baby measuring at 4lbs 3oz, I know they aren't incredibly accurate but I thought it was interesting.
My blood pressure is also really high. 162/112. They are keeping a close eye on it, but it's making me nervous. We have so so much to do before the baby comes still.
QOTW- I plan on getting an epidural ASAP. I am not good with pain and have no intention of going longer than I need to.

Update - Everything looks good! Labs came back normal, NST was perfect, and blood pressure has gone down enough I don't need medication. Next NST and BP check is Tuesday. Onto one more week!!

I'm super anxiously awaiting my a/s tomorrow morning (I'll be 19 weeks on the dot). It feels like forever since we've seen the baby given how many ultrasounds we had in the first 12 weeks. I'm praying everything looks good!
Otherwise I've been feeling pretty well... some aches and pains but overall not bad. Finally getting the motivation to exercise more and eat better. I'm starting to freak out about how much weight I've gained!
QOTW: I'm definitely aiming for a natural birth with no epidural. I think the only huge game changer would be if I ended up with such severe back labor that leaves me immobile esp given my possible spinal/disc issues. Otherwise I'm actually hoping for a water birth which means you can't have any meds.

rikkiandjulie, I'm glad your blood pressure is good!! rosesquared, how much did you gain? I hope all is good with the baby too!!!
Things are good here. The baby is moving soooooo much!!! He just doesn't stop, which is amazing, but when he wakes up when I go pee in the middle of the night, that's horrible. He starts kicking and going crazy, so I'm up for a while...
I did my glucose test yesterday and I am so nervous I'm going to test high and have to do the 3 hour test, and have GD. Ugh... If I have GD, then I will have to leave my current Dr and be referred to an OB in a town a good 30 min away and will likely have to give birth in Edmonton which is 3.5 hours away... Plus I don't want to do the 3 hour test cause the 1 hour test made me feel crappy as it was. I started getting hot flashes and needed to lay down.
Oh yeah... QOTW: I would like to try without pain meds, but if it's unbearable, then I'm all for it!! lol I don't really have a birth plan because I don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't go the way I want... I just want a healthy baby. So I'm open for whatever for pain maintenance.

Same! My birth plan is no plan other than
1. No one gets to tell me the gender of the baby besides julie. 2. In delivery or OR I get to listen to music. 3. No visitors from friends or family before an epidural. 4. No visitors for 2+ hours post delivery.

Update 2- I lied. My protein/creatine check came back high, so I have to do a 24 hour urine catch.
I'm panicking I can't afford to be on bedrest or have work restrictions. Yes I know a healthy baby is best, but leaving work early would really impact things poorly.
rikkiandjulie, That sounds a lot like what I want. Music would be good. No visitors right after. And I would rather not have visitors. Though both my Mother and Mother in law will likely be here when the baby is on his way. Either that or arriving right after.
It's not easy getting to us! It's a full days trip...
And I hope everything everything turns out with your urine catch! 😖

Finally had my a/s! Everything looked great!!! I do have an anterior placenta which I'm bummed about and she's currently breech but they don't worry about that for a while. Also she's measuring 2 days small but they give that a 20 day window so she's good. I'm actually glad she isn't measuring big given how much sugar I've been eating lol. So freaking relieved!
I'm currently about 18-20 pounds up but after the holiday I'm not putting too much stock in that. According to one website I'm 9 pounds above where I should be but I have 15 pounds to go to still be in a healthy range at delivery so that feels manageable!

I have an anterior placenta as well, the only thing that bummed me out was it took longer to feel for sure movement, but now I feel it all the time. So happy it went well today!

Update- My blood pressure is still high, and I definitely have preeclampsia based on my urine catch results. I'm being admitted to mother and baby until delivery, which will be around 4.5 weeks from now,'or something, maybe sooner. I'm angry and pissed and bitter. I want to be at home doing the last minute preparations, I want to be at home installing car seats, I want to be completing the legal paperwork for the adoption. I do not want to be here. I do not want to be out of work. I financially don't know how we will make this work. All I know is that I'm about to crack, oh wait, I already have. The worst part is that this cuts into my maternity leave.

Oh no!!! I am so sorry! You did not want that at all. I hope all goes smoothly and you are both good in the end. Try not to stress too much. Although that's easier said than done.

Im coming to terms with it so long as I can keep baby cooking a little longer then better off we are. I'm in better spirits, but still financially anxious. Hopefully my benefits coordinator at work has good nees.

Hi! Sorry I've been MIA. Things are moving along. I'm 10weeks this week and I'm super nervous everyday until Thursday mornings when I get to see baby girl. But next week is my last RE appointment so I'll have to switch to the OB's monitoring schedule. I am however stoked that I'll get to stop the twice daily PIO shots soon!
As for delivery, I'm totally open to an epidural. I'll do whatever feels right in the moment.

I am so tired.... Like a whole day of travelling (3.5 hours in the truck) to take my Mom to the airport and then an afternoon of shopping for nursery stuff have kicked my butt. Plus last night I woke up just before 3am to pee and the baby had me up for another hour and a half cause he was kicking like crazy. I go back to work tomorrow after Christmas vaca.. so going to be early! Plus I just really don't want to go back to work. I've been enjoying my sleeping in and naps! lol We found out that the crib we ordered mid Nov through Sears isn't actually in stock... so I have I have no clue why I was told it was shipped 30 Nov... needless to say, that's been cancelled and we ordered a crib through Wayfair. However, after ordering it and it already being shipped, we found out it's a mini crib! I didn't know there was such a thing! I just hope this baby doesn't grow too fast and he will be able to move to a toddler bed before he outgrows the crib. Ugh... It's going to be a pain finding the right mattress and sheets...
Oh, and I haven't gotten my results for the GD test. It's been over 4 days... so I'm thinking I'm good. If there is nothing bad to report, I usually don't get a call. But I will call the Dr tomorrow to make sure.
