I'm on the hunt for good b/s/t sites for kid stuff, in my efforts to be a better budget-er. I'm a member of Babywearing on a Budget. Any other favorites?
Having a wild NYE over here with my couch, Gatorade and Tylenol. I suspect a late hit with the bug the ILs had this week, so achey and stomach is so uncomfortable although no puking (yet, at least). Trying to force some fluids down and stay out of L&D since I was having some BH vs contractions earlier but they seem to have stopped. Apparently I have bad luck with having viruses while pregnant over Christmas, happened with DS too.
2016 going out with a bang haha. Here's hoping 2017 looks up from here! Happy New Year, everyone!
It's 8:30 and I am in bed. Granted I'm watching a movie with my nephew in the spare bed but once he falls asleep I plan on going to my bed and falling asleep.
Its 9:45 here and we're in bed after binge watching the new season of "The Man in the High Castle" all night. My fave NYE! Our friends without kids invited us to a party and First Night thing cuz they thought we could "just bring H***** with you...it would be fun to have her there too!" Ummm yeah guys, my 18 month old is gonna be real fun at an outdoor event that lasts past 8pm. But sweet of them to ask 😉
Today was a lot of cleaning and baby prep; tomorrow we start painting the nursery! See you all in 2017 and may it be a MUCH, MUCH better year! 🎉🎆🎉🎆
Well, that was fun. Bed at 9, up at 5 because our humidifier tried to blow up on us. Electrical smoke is stinky! Thankfully we both woke up right away and h threw it out in the snow. But now sleep evades me. Apparently 2017 couldn't have a quiet entrance for us

I was MIA yesterday but happy 3rd birthday to your dd sleepymonkey!! Hope her party went well. And she is so adorable! I love the curls so much! I also just ordered that same shirt for my DD to wear on her actual birthday in March =) (she wants a purple sofia party so will probably do something sofia for that!)
nikonine, icedtea, there is a small town (well, technically a city, but has a population of 1300) a few hours away that drops a giant sardine at midnight and then everyone kisses it for good luck. You can then watch the sunrise the next morning at the Easternmost point of the U.S., which I have always wanted to do. There was freezing rain on NYE and it was very overcast the next morning so I'm glad we didn't drive all the way over there but I'm determined to do it some day.
PirateCat , that is great ha. I wonder how on earth that started.
It's a relatively new tradition, this was their 12th year. Sardine fishing and canning used to be their big industry. They also drop a big maple leaf at 11 PM in honor of their Canadian neighbors.
