wineoclock, at first I was like, well I can wait. Now I'm like, I need to know now!
I completely understand. I was trying to talk MH into being team green this time around but now I want to know. I want to narrow down names and decorate the nursery that I have had set up in my home since last summer. Lmao.

agm04 I think Disney sounds like fun! I'd do it. I still felt great at 32 weeks with DD. with your daughter being not quite 3 yet, you'll be taking breaks and going at a slower pace anyway.
For some reason this time around, I was super eager to find out gender. I mean, last time I was too but this time my AS just feels soooo far away, so we did an elective us because I just had to knowork (and could involve my whole family). I could never be team green. If baby didn't cooperate at as, I'd be booking the next elective us appointment that was available haha.

How far along are you? 18 weeks tomorrow
How big is baby? Artichoke. According to the lady who did our elective ultrasound, he has long legs and fingers and big feet. Not sure if she says that to everyone, but dd was 21.5in at birth so who knows. I'll just avoid buying any newborn sized clothes just to be on the safe side lol
Team? Blue!
Upcoming appointments this week? Just has an appointment this week. All was good.I'm up 4lbs total so far. AS next Jan 25th.
Any new symptoms or changes? Baby has been moving a lot! Then he has quiet days that worry me, or course. I think my boobs are slowly getting bigger. The fatigue seems to have returned but maybe it's leftover from traveling? Also, increased appetite has started. I really don't want to gain too much weight so I'm trying to find healthy snacks that hit the spot. I want all the salty junk and processed foods. I even ate spaghettios for the first time in years.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing really
Bump picture: I've been taking them occasionally but I don't really share them online.
GTKY: What were your New Years resolutions for this year? I don't really make resolutions.
We won't know until January 31st. It seems so far away.
We are right there with you, not until the 26th and I am going crazy!
We're team green (though some days I really just want to find out) but I have to wait until Feb 13th for the A/S. My OB doesn't want me to go to the specialist (who will be doing a more high tech scan) before I'm 22 weeks. It seems so far away!
Upcoming appointments this week? Tuesday to hear the results of my anatomy scan
Any new symptoms or changes? Baby is very consistently moving, especially at night
Rants/Raves/Questions? Starting to freak out about savings, we payed out of pocket for IVF so it was a major kick in the pants in terms of our savings (that being said I know so many ladies who've been on much longer and more financially draining journeys which hurts my heart and makes me feel guilty for complaining)
Bump picture: posted in HDBD but since the post I feel like my bump has exploded! Strangers are now asking if I'm pregnant
GTKY: What were your New Years resolutions for this year? I'm going to work really hard to build up my savings, DH and I will be splitting leave (I will taking 10 months and he will have three) but in order for that to happen we have to be reallly conservative (in a dream world I would be a SAHM but that is not financially possible as I am the breadwinner)
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015

ihatepizza I'm with you on the savings, although ours is for different reasons. Our dog got sick with what ended up being cancer and had to be put down, my laptop broke, DH's phone broke, we need a new fridge, and I don't qualify for a low interest student loan so now that is coming out of savings. On top of the regular holiday time expenses, I haven't been able to contribute to our savings the way I had planned. We can't afford to live off of just DH's salary the way we could the first time around, and we will be relying on savings to fill the gaps while I'm on maternity leave. I think maternity leave is going to be much shorter than I had hoped The financial stress is making it harder to be as excited about this baby as I was with DD. He was planned, and he's wanted and loved, but I wish this time around was as stress free as it was with DD.
