I went to bed with a bad headache last night but didn't take anything. Mistake. At 12:15am I woke up to a full blown migraine. DH helped me out and found some meds. But now I'm left with a bad headache. I should've taken something to knock it out completely before bed.
And of course the baby was up so much last night. I swear he and B alternate nights.
Omg- that PSA about personal information. I went to the link. Not cool. Not cool at all. Theres one guy in my associated with list that I know (but do not associate with) and he's extremely dangerous. opting out!
We just dealt with this! It was scary! Besides going in for the steroids, everyone kept telling me that exposing baby to cold air can help. Maybe try that?
But if you hear stridor (which is the wheezing sound when she breathes in) and see retractions (sucking in her belly as she tries to breath, you'd see the ribs sticking out) you should go in right away.
M seems much better today so we cancelled his appointment. He has been eating and in good spirits. I still wouldn't be surprised if he comes down with something, but for the moment he is ok.

bocaburger, i went and got a massage tonight and that helped a lot (the 600mg ibuprofen might have helped with it too). Thanks for asking! I'm just sleepy now. I want wine, but i know that now is not the time for that.

OMG I am the biggest idiot ever! The dishwasher was full so I assumed it had been run (H generally does the dishes). So I thought I'd be helpful and put them away. If I had looked more closely I might have realized before finishing the bottom rack that they were still dirty. And H made chicken, so a few items had raw chicken on them! I tried hard to remember everything that had been there and put it back in, and anything it had touched, and all the utensils. But I am terrified now that something got contaminated and we could end up with food poisoning.
Guys, things are looking up. Baby girl seems to have learned to unclench her teeth before unlatching after nursing. Combine that with improving sleep, and I am feeling a million times better!
She had one barky cough all night. Because I was stressed by stridor, I was basically awake from 12 to 5 listening, watching, worrying... But she was great.

So, have any of you settled into routines yet? We seem to be transitioning from 3-2 naps and I'm trying to figure it out! I had hoped to move to a slightly later bed time, but he keeps ending his second nap kind of early. Maybe I need to push the first one later? And when do you usually feed in relation to sleep?

Right now feeding and sleeping are disconnected. Still 3 naps. Usually our 2 nap schedule is ~9:30 and1:30 naps, bed based on how good naps were. I get back to eat-play-sleep on 2 naps once baby is also eating 3 solid meals. Until then my milk supply can't keep up with demand unless I feed more.

We're still at 3 naps usually. But I feed on wake up then every 3 hours or so. Then right before bed, then a dream feed around 9/10. Bedtime routine starts at 5:45 with lights out in crib at 6:30. The last nap ends about 3 hours before bedtime. Unfortunately I can't get a nap in later due to daycare pick up and getting dinner on table. So he just gets an early bedtime. Can I ask why you want to push for a later bedtime?

I'm so confused with the whole schedule thing. Kiddo is on 3 naps now, but the length of each nap is so inconsistent. Sometimes it's 30 min, other times it's 90 min. He needs that 3rd nap, but I've found that I need to wake him up from it for him to go to bed on time. I can't get his wake times past 2 hours before he melts down.
I'm a person who needs a schedule based on the clock and kiddo just disagrees.

You will get there. DD2 moved to a strict by the clock schedule after she moved to two naps. It was such a relief! Even my big on waketime kiddo (DD1) was on a strict clock schedule shortly after 1 when she was set on one nap.

Well - i guess because if he sleeps for 11-12 hours at night, a slightly later morning wake up would be awesome (like, no more 5:45/6). Not super important. Also, DH doesn't get home until after baby is sleeping on work nights. It would be nice if they could at least get in a little snuggle.

Makes sense. Now that DS is going to bed at 6:30 instead of 7 DH doesn't see him either. It sucks! Luckily on the weekends I work they get plenty of snuggle time. Haha Sometimes a later bedtime doesn't change wake up unfortunately.
