Not many that I am comfortable sharing -- most of it has to do with some really personal things that happened to DH and his brother before I met DH (we've been together for almost 15 years, so it's a really deep hurt for both of them). The most minor things she did in her whole tirade were attacking me as a parent, and saying that one of our children is her favorite. Everything else is even more personal and unforgivable.
requiressnacks, aren't they preemies though? You shouldn't worry about them not meeting 2 month milestones for another month at least.
Also, tummy time at this age is fairly minimal. Most of Cora's tummy time is done when she's laying on me. She happily works her tummy time muscles that way instead of laying in the floor complaining. It doesn't need to be extended torturous tummy time (because they hate it at this age usually anyway).
Don't beat yourself up for doing the minimum. Look at what you guys do over a whole weeks time instead of day to day. A lazy day now and then doesn't hurt anything.
Winnifred totally not a FTM thing. TTM here finds there is no good time. Lol. I usually do it before I feed him. Unless I hear an explosion in between. He can have a poop in there when I do and will still poop again during feeding sometimes. But especially MOTN, I don't want to wake him to change it after feeding if I don't have to. The diapers do slow down. I feel like we're going through a million too. And we use extra strength Butt Paste. His little butt gets red because he poops SO much!
requiressnacks totally understandable since you (we) have to plan to do anything. Can't just "run to the store" any more. It gets a lot easier quickly as they get bigger.

legalbeagle we just gave Nolan a bath yesterday. He was 19 days old. No shame here. Also, I loved using the boppy with my recovery after DS1. I had to sleep on it too. This time I thankfully didn't have to use it.
requiressnacks I'm sorry you're having a rough day. Your twins were early though, don't they have an adjusted age? I know it's hard not to worry. All I do is snuggle, feed and change N. they don't need much else right now. also, you have TWO BABIES. your house is supposed to be a mess and so are you 😊
Thanks, this makes me feel better. I should look into the milestones for their adjusted age. I just constantly worry because DD is so much more advanced than DS. It's hard to watch her excelling.
requiressnacks I'm sure it's especially hard to not compare twins. I'm sure your son will catch up. Is your pediatrician concerned?
No, she isn't. But we have our 2 month appt next week so we will see what she says then.
FWIW my Leo was 6 wks early and the pedi said he'd catch up by 1 yo (he had no real medical issues). It's hard not to compare/worry. He was born dec1st but I stayed with my jan bmb. Even those babies seemed ahead of him. Hope your dr can ease your mind.
I'm on mobile so I can't type out the responses I'd like to. Hopefully I'll get behind a computer tomorrow. But I'm so glad we're all sharing because I could +1 pretty much everything here from diaper concerns to late baths to being freaked out that this is my new reality to being worried I'm going to break the baby accidentally to obsessing over milestones. Such a roller coaster. At least my daily sobbing has slowed down a bit. I even made it to the pharmacy and back without tearing up. Hang in there, gals.
On a brighter note, I took some photos today and even caught a smile.

This! My twins pedi said she wouldn't consider them delayed unless they didn't hit their milestones for their adjusted age. I'm not sure about in CT, but here in MA since the twins each spent more than 5 days in the NICU they automatically qualify for early intervention. We've already met with the local EI office to get the ball rolling in case they aren't meeting their milestones.
Mine spent the last 2 hrs crying cause of his congestion. He's finally cleared up enough and calmed down to sleep. I actually googled if I could hurt the baby using the bulb syringe too much. I think I'm in for a long night.
Winnifred we were trying to figure out diaper timing as well. DD poops SO much. at first we were doing it before nursing sessions but yeah, we would change her and then she would poop again right away while nursing. so what I've been doing is feed on one boob, change diaper, then feed on second boob, where she usually gets sleepy, and then put her to bed after. it's working out pretty well, though it definitely does not work out perfectly every time! also, her little butt was a bit red from all the poops, so I've been dabbing on a little Aquaphor Baby which seems to help. She is 2 weeks old.
Ab.iga.il Cl.ara arrived via c-section this morning. At some point I'll do her full birth story, but it was long and harrowing. She and I are pretty battered and bruised from two hours of pushing that was pointless, at the c-section it took two docs to pull her out of my pelvis. She is 8lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. We're starting attempts at breastfeeding, hoping tomorrow will be better when we've both had a chance to sleep and recover from today.

@cahistoryteacher CONGRATS!!!! She's precious!!! I'm so glad she's finally here!! I hope recovery is quick for you! DS's red marks and bruises from being lodged and forcefully dislodged from my pelvis went away in like 2-3 days. Hopefully its similar for you guys!

2 doses of cytotec and I was only 1.5cm dilated at last check. Although my water did break on its own. Doctor might do another dose of cytotec but oral delivery.
