Hopefully it clears quickly this time skinandbones.
I hope it clears quickly too. But I'm 100% sure we are looking at another set of tubes plus adenoids removed. DS2 was towing a fine line during his last follow up.
H turns 40 in February. I've been trying to figure out what to do. I'm considering surprising him by renting a cabin for him and a few friends to have a boys weekend away. He's about to get super stressed with work, I figured a weekend just to cut lose would be a nice break. I'm looking at cabins and having a hard time deciding what a group of guys would like. I'm thinking secluded, near a river, nice porch, and a fire pit are key.
ampaints that sounds like a great idea! DH, myself and all of our friends turn 40 this year! So lots of celebrating will be happening. First up is a girls Night in niagara falls the end of this month. Then in February going to an axe throwing place for DH's friends party! Lol. Fall hoping a trip to Caribbean with my gf's and something with DH! Lol

abominationsnowman, I hope you got some good finds and just generally son good time at the store today!
ars093s, sorry about the RSV— hope it passes quickly! Same with the ear infections, skinandbones.
Today was my last day off. Back to reality tomorrow. Been packing and purging like crazy. H and my goal is to Marie Kondo the shit out of our stuff, and then make a "Hygge" feel in our new apartment. Cause we like to keep up with the trends. ;-)
ampaints, I need to start tracking my calories again too. I had good luck using the livestrong app a few year ago. My goal is to start as soon as I kick this cold.
shellyr, Sorry about the nonstop illness. I think different parts of the country carry different strains of illnesses, so it may be the exposure to new stuff that you're dealing with just from being out and about, even if she isn't in daycare. She's going to have a super strong immune system once she gets through all this!
packmomma, Good for you for filing. I'm proud of you. I hope things are resolved quickly and to your satisfaction.
ampaints, Hurray for new bras! I've been wanting to get some new ones since weaning and after your experience, I think I might head to Soma.
Getting better every day. Thanks for asking. I haven't taken percocet in a few days now and I'm getting by okay with just Aleve. The real challenge will be going back to work tomorrow. I can't wear yoga pants (my stomach is still so swollen!) and I have to put on real shoes despite the broken toe.
What I'm really looking forward to is being able to carry Abigail again. I think starting Wednesday it's okay for me to do that if someone else picks her up and hands her to me. Can't wait! I miss my snuggle bug!
Hi all! I've been MIA thanks to a crazy busy time at work, visiting family, and sick kiddos. J is a carrier monkey for every preschool germ, and C gets it twice as bad as him every damn time. Which turns her into a barnacle, but only mommy will do. I'm exhausted and it's only January 3.
Also, based on the past week and a half I've been off and home with the kids, I'm 90% sure my 3 year is about done with naps. He only took one 3 out of 10 days. If you hear someone crying in the corner, that's me grieving the loss of the last of my personal time.
@janetheconquerer I recorded Beyond but haven't watched yet. What did you think? Also, do you watch Shadowhunters? I recorded that one too. This no naps thing is going to interfere with my ability to watch crap TV.
As the cherry on my sundae, today was my first day back to work and I left my badge and lunch at home. Had to go through security and have a coworker escort me up to the office this morning. It took forever, so I'm planning to beg someone to get me lunch today so I can avoid going through security again.
Plus I came back to approximately 304758392 fires that need my immediate attention. Is it time to go home yet?
We're awake and about to take a walk. Then in have an ob appt (new place for my annual) it's right when walt naps but hopefully it doesn't mess with it. H had to work yesterday so we got exactly nothing done (baby gate wise) but we had a blast just hanging out as a family this weekend and playing with W.
oy. woke up 45 mins late. promised A if she didn't come into our bed we could get donuts - so she stayed in her bed and we had to go get donuts.
realized my drivers license expires on my birthday, this Sunday which is also when I fly to MN. Can't fly with an expired license so I am heading to the dmv tomorrow morning.
Have my follow up regarding my thyroid - but i have no insurance at the moment.
And i have a zillion unread emails which are probably all issues i have to deal with.
joi922, no I don't watch Shadowhunters but saw a commercial of it and thouht of you.
Beyond - so they showed the pilot on the 1st than reran it last night along with episode 2. I only watched the 1st one. It was good. It grabbed my attention. Hoping it keeps my attention and doesn't fade out like Dead of Summer did (although Dead of Summer did end up getting better again).
But what I really want to know is, when is Stitchers coming back on???
So so so tired today. Not much sleep happened last night for either DH or myself. But M slept well. When I did fall asleep apparently I was having bad dreams and talking/whimpering/moving around so DH woke me, and I couldn't fall back asleep, finally fell back asleep, bad dreams, rinse repeat. DH has been having trouble sleeping lately. We are assuming it's diet/drinking related, but hoping its not insomnia (his mom suffers pretty significantly from it). DH is supposed to go back to work today, but said he will go in late because he is trying to get some sleep. Meanwhile, I'm up with M, and it's pouring rain and gross outside. Have to find something to entertain us today! Maybe we will go for coffee! lol

H and I are doing a diet bet together this month. We each put $5 in and have to lose 5 lbs this month. Whoever does it gets the $10 to spend on whatever (although foods/sweets are not encouraged). And if we both lose the 5 lbs no one gets the money and it holds over till the next month. We're both excited and a little competitive so I think this will be good.
Man redandblue that sucks. Especially when you're on a break still so this is the perfect time to get plenty of rest. Hope you guys can figure out something fun to do indoors. We've been playing with all the boxes Christmas stuff came in (I made astronaut helmets and a little city). W is having a blast driving his trucks around the ruck she city.
