Whit - I got an epidural, too, during my induction. I made it to five, then they made me change rooms/barked orders at me and my concentration was ruuuuined. I'm sad but made the best choice.
Getting rest from the epidural relief is what helped give me the strength to push and be present for my labor, so even though it wasn't my plan either, I have no regrets. I am glad you are happy with the choice even if it wasn't your first one. Hang in there, and I hope you already are holding your little one in your arms!

W, I don't even understand how you're doing this for so long. My induction was 14 hours from cervidil to birth and I was basically a wreck by the end from pain (my epidural failed), people touching me, etc.
The fact that you're cool with all this waiting and even slept... My mouth is agape.
