crimpgirl, we had the same cloth diaper problem. Hazel was a month old before she fit into them.
2 month well-visit today. She's up to 8lbs 15oz and 22"! She also got shots. Hazel cried. I cried. It's was awful. I forgot how heart wrenching baby shots are.
crimpgirl I didn't even know there are cloth wipes. Yeah for free photo shoots!
mrsp121308 DS had his ONE MONTH visit yesterday. He was 8 lbs 15 oz and 22"! Lol. He's up a whole pound from his birth weight, but has gained almost 2 lbs after the weight he lost.

Soooo.... I left my wine here yesterday and never got a chance to update my day.
My friend stopped by to meet Dylan Wednesday night. DS2 was MISERABLE from dinner until bedtime. Crying and only wanted me to hold him. I had the pedi check his left ear at D's well check yesterday but it looked ok and his right ear was healing so maybe some fluid in his Eustachian tubes. He's been up crying MOTN the last 3 nights now.
DS1 was so upset and crying before leaving the house and the whole way to the bus stop because he couldn't find his library book for school and thought he wouldn't be able to get a new one. He wouldn't listen to me that his class didn't get new books before break so he didn't have one to return and could get one. 10x later he finally got it.
I got a call from my brother early yesterday morning that my dad was in ICU after having a couple seizures the night before. He's ok now and they think it might've been from lowering meds he was on after the surgery to remove the tumor.
And the ILs arrive today. DH sprung it on me this am that he plans to ask DS1 if he wants to stay at their hotel with them tomorrow night (he's done it with my parents, but not these weirdos). Sure, have them meet D before my parents and then send my baby to stay with them a night. He's obviously trying to KILL me!!

That is a lot to process. I hope you had adequate wine for all of that. I'm glad your dad is okay and hope they figure out what's causing the seizures.
Also, smh at your husband. They just don't get the whole attachment thing. My husband tried to send me out for lunch with my family without our baby when she was a week old and I was like NOOOOO. He also keeps saying we're going to send our kid across the country to stay with the inlaws for 1-2 weeks each summer. Ummmm what!? Also, she's only 3 weeks old. Chill!
Dh was up with dd until after 3. Night time has become the time when she poops so he was up three or four times with diapers and then her pre-poop freakouts. He was nice enough to let me sleep. I don't know how we'd get through right now without my mom. She takes dd after our two early am feeds and chills with her while we sleep. We have her 2-day post discharge appointment today and we're going to ask about the nighttime stuff. This feeding method gives her awful gas too so the nights aren't fun for anyone.
I also get my staples out today. At one point in labor they thought my kidneys were shutting down and pumped me fill of fluids(baby was on bladder and i nearly overflowed the cath bag when the pulled her out) and my legs and feet swelled so much. The swelling is really bad in my feet so I need to ask about that.
mrswillie wow that's a lot to handle! I hope your DS1 feels better. Not gonna lie I kinda wish I could ship my two year old off to my moms for a night. He's really testing my patience. We were just sitting here and out of nowhere he said I was being bossy and I wasn't being nice. Lol, I wonder where he heard that from. He is killing me lately! and making me rethink not sending him to DC one day a week.
All our family lives ~ 8 hours away. He sees my ILs 1-2x a year usually for a day or two when we travel up there. It's not much more, but my parents do come to visit us more often than my ILs and we would usually stay with them since the rest of our family and friends are near them. I'd have no problem letting him go with my parents. 😉

@cahistoryteacher my legs and feet were swollen for about two weeks or so after I got home. Same as with my other c/s's. It hurt to walk up/down my stairs and felt sooooo tight. Couldn't fit most of my shoes on my feet. It was better the more I could keep them elevated during the day, but not really possible with my two other LO's.

@cahistoryteacher....my feet still aren't back to normal! I think I am in denial that they might be permanently larger. And I still have minor cankles. So sexy.

So, I spent my morning at the pediatrician. DS woke up and had blood in his ear. I freaked out. Turns out it was just a minor cut in his ear. Whooooops.
Sorry....another Snacks husband rant ahead.....
I'm annoyed again at MH because he was home alone last night with the babies so I could attend my Moms of Multiples mreeting. Not only did he have to call his mom for help (again!!!!) he texted me a bazillion times about "all hell breaking loose" at home. Well no wonder DS didn't want to sleep....he was bleeding from the ear!!! How did he miss that?!
Gah. My husband always comes to snuggle with the baby when she's sweet and quiet. And then he wakes her up and passes her off to me, so I get to figure out how to calm her back down. The next time he tries to take her when she's napping, I'm saying no!
Also, we are now taking a trip to his office (a few states away) at the end of February. Travel with a two month old, on a plane, then a hotel stay and hanging out with his coworkers wives who are all STMs who stay home with full-time nannies. I'm so out of my league here. :/

mrsp121308, so glad Hazels appointment went well!!(Aside from the shots of course) I am bringing the babies on Monday for their 2 months appointment. Alone. 😭😭
lola my dh did that all the time with Leo even up to recently. Very frustrating when I'm the one stuck with a wide awake baby and a snoring husband. >:/

harfamilyof3 we have that play mat but the lion. My boys loved it. She's too cute. No custom outfit today??
requiressnacks whooooppss!! Lol. Better safe than sorry! Good luck at the appointment on Monday. I don't know how you do it, but you were totally meant to be a MoM! You rock it and make it look easy!
lola we're taking D on his first flight in two weeks.... along with the 22 month and 4 year old. Two lap kids. 3 car seats. Hotel. And my family. There will be a Bloody Mary on the flight up! You got this. Some of the airlines have certificates and what not for their first flight. 😊

So my ILs hit snow (shocker! I told them it was going to snow!) on the way down and will go to their hotel around 4:30 to check in and then come over here. So they've been driving ALL day. I'm pretty sure when they get here, it'll be just about time for me to nurse D again.... see ya in an hour! 😂😂😂😂

mrswillie Wow, I'm super impressed. I can't even imagine a trip to the store alone right now. So do you bring the car seat and stroller? And then request a crib at the hotel? I was also considering wearing her on the flight in the Ergo, but then what do you do with the car seat?

I've found that buying them a seat and putting them in a car seat on the plane is the easiest way to contain them. Especially in bigger kids 1+, then it's just treated like a car ride to them.
requiressnacks I'm mostly pissed because I had 0 swelling during my pregnancy and now no shoes fit and I can only barely squeeze into my sweatpants. My mom(a nurse) said they could have easily sent me into heart failure with the amount of fluids they gave me that I didn't really need. I'm not even sure my butt is a definable shape anymore...hiss boo.

Haha....it'll go back, surely. Although I'm glad you didn't have heart failure
I had my 6 week follow-up this morning. My OB is adorable with the new babies and wants to snuggle them when new moms bring them in for appointments. Everything looked well healed, and I got the green light for sex again. Too bad I'm not much in the mood for that one. My blood pressure was back to normal too, which was a relief, even though I suspected it would be fine.
Cora desperately needs a bath tonight. I have been skipping it the last 3 days because it's been so stinking cold and my house can be drafty since it's so small, but baby wipes aren't cutting it anymore. She smells like sour milk and is looking a little crusty around the edges.

There is a Jersey Shore marathon on MTV right now. I am doing the least as a parent right now. One baby on me...,one in the bouncy seat....a glass of wine in hand. Happy Friday.
