Ah! I hope you don't get it! My 2 year old has had it since Tuesday night. Today was the worst day of diarrhea and vomitting. If the twins and I get it, I think I might need my mom to move in for a few days. It was almost impossible for me to deal with DD1 and the babies by myself today. Thank goodness DH was working from home and stepped in for baths after the blowouts.
mc13 are you giving the toddler plain water? Or something else. So far I'm just doing water but not sure if I should be giving pedialyte or something. Hope your LO is doing better today! And FX it doesn't spread in either of our households!
Water and ice cubes were all she'd take. She hated the pedialyte and would take little sips of watered down Gatorade. And thanks! Same to you! It seems like today she on the mend. It was 4 bad days and then today no puking or diarrhea.
Just seeing this - I hope everyone is feeling better by now! The bug is definitely going around. DH came down with it on Sunday night & just when I thought the rest of us were in the clear, DD started throwing up Wednesday night. Luckily she appears to have gotten a very mild. version & had fully recovered by the morning. Now I'm holding my breath & hoping LO & I don't catch it!
unringthebell, I ended up coming down with it yesterday morning. DH was fantastic - he entertained DD & let me spend the whole day in bed, only bringing LO to me for feedings. I still feel pretty awful, but at least LO just slept for 7 hours. He's eating now & then I'm hoping for several more hours of sleep.
