So this 'guide' for babies our ages says that the awake time is supposed to be 50-80 minutes. Then nap.
Is this happening with your babies? Cause I don't think it is here, she has really good sleep, nurse, sleep cycles from about 11pm-9am and then the day is a crapshoot. She thinks her catnaps of 10-15 minutes after nursing completely rejuvenate her.
Spoiler: they dont
I've actually be tracking C's sleep in my app for the past few days just because I'm curious. He does pretty good from 9 to 9ish (very big 'ish' here) then sometimes he has one big nap from 12 to 3 ish with cat naps the rest of the night. I'm starting to see his eat/sleep schedule get more consistent so that's exciting.
I think it's time to institute more of a nap routine with C. Up til now she's been great about napping during the day whenever/wherever, but yesterday she was awake much of the afternoon other than 30 min doze-offs, and last night she was overtired and it was horrendous. DH and I took turns with her and he was the last one in, and that was sometime bn 1:30-2. So I think I need to start being more intentional about her daytime sleep; she is definitely one with whom 'sleep begets sleep' holds true.

D is similar except her day naps are slightly longer (30-45minutes usually). Most days she does take one longer nap, but the timing varies. For the most part this is okay but there are days I can tell she's tired and the snoozes aren't cutting it. On those days I will actively participate in putting her down, including swaddling her if I have to.
It's called Baby Tracker. Same app we use for feeds and diaper changes. I paid for the premium version. It gives me a pretty chart that I can see everything and compare days.
