We had our first "soccer practice" today. It was supposed to be 18-24 month olds, but one mom said her kid was 2 1/2, and DS was quite obviously the youngest kid there. So he definitely didn't get everything, but it seemed like he had a fun time overall, and it's a good way for him to be able to run around, especially while the weather sucks, so I think we're going to sign up for the rest of the session.
H went to work yesterday, I got bags put away, we de-Christmassed the house today..holidays are most definitely over! Yeesh!
The good thing about coming back from a time zone so far behind us is that the kids have slept in to around 10am the last couple mornings! They even went to bed at 8 like normal last night! Yeesh x2!!
Cute random: the Wiggles have a song called the Skeleton Skat. It is DD's new favourite thing in the whole world. There's one point where the guy says his voice is so deep he sounds like a trombone and now she walks around all the time pretending to play the trombone and makes the sound he does when he's pretending (like pumps her arm in and out in front of her going "whomp, whomp, whomp, whomp..) Anyway my brother can make his voice go pretty deep and he would do that part a lot while we were all vacationing together and now when she sees pictures of him she makes the trombone sound, even after trying to name everyone else in the picture. His nickname is Tron so now we call him uncle tronbone haha.
Counting down until nap time. While C naps I have some work to get done so I can drop it off at our accounts tomorrow. After nap it's a trip to the grocery store. Was thinking of a trip to motherhood maternity since I got a 50% off one item coupon that expires today but I don't think we'll make it there before DH gets home from work.

Kids are napping so I'm drinking coffee instead of packing. Last day before DH goes back to work so I'm really hoping that he gets as much done as possible today. Do not know how I'll pack this house alone.
Ukranian Christmas tonight!!! Not that I need more feasting after a week in Mexico, but I can't wait to stuff my face.
Snowy day and it doesn't look it is stopping anytime soon. I had work this morning until 1030 & then took J to baby yoga. J decided she wanted a different mom, so she went to across the room & sat with another mother. Then that mother's kid came to me. Both kids did better with the substitute mom. It was weird, but at least they got something out of it
So sad our afternoon plans had to be canceled due to the weather but maybe we'll get a little snow play in.
I hit up a consignment store I like that had a 70% off clearance sale...I got a huge bag of clothes for $30 (& saved $73.50!)! All winter clothes for next year.
O went to H's parents so we went on a date! It had been a while. We grabbed lunch and saw Rogue One (surprise, surprise). Hung at the the ILs chatting for a bit when we picked up O. Now to workout. Church and FILs birthday party tomorrow. We'll also finish deChristmasing this weekend.
Canada has free National Park passes for all of 2017 to celebrate the country's 150th, so we ordered our park pass today. I saw most of the parks reserve a sites are also opening this week so sugarkissed we are officially planning our Banff trip for July and will book our site soon to make sure we get when we want!
Feel better Bluedaisy. I'm with you, except for me, it's my neck. Must have slept bad!
Currently waiting for M to fall asleep so I can continue watching One Tree Hill. The Little Gym a few neighborhoods away is having an Open House later, so me and my parents plan on taking M.

tiffbot, AWESOME! I got my park pass a few weeks ago. Definitely book right away, it's going to be an insane summer in the national parks. We had trouble getting a spot even last year.
Highly reccomend Two Jack Lakeside, such a gorgeous campground. It's my favourite! Hopefully we can make the drive down and meet up. We spend a lot of our summer in Banff.

We had our first DT appointment yesterday, so we are working on putting some strategies in place to help with that. Other than that, we didn't do much.
Today is laundry, grocery shopping, meal prepping, and a few errands. I need to face my fears and get to the dentist to take care of the 2 teeth that have been bugging me for a few days now.
I'm hoping to get some time to go through J's toys and get rid of some. There's so many of them it's kind of ridiculous.

Went for my last long run before next week's half. Then made some granola and overnight oatmeal. About to head out to lunch with the boys, then maybe work this afternoon?
