I'm home! Well I just dropped off the toddler, getting groceries and then doing laundry from the trip. H insists on washing all our clothes the last night of vacation but then he wants to wash everything anyone wore or touched, kids blankets- anything that went through the airport or was in public. It's probably best but a little annoying.

I'm off today and back to work tomorrow. I'm hoping I wake up super rich tomorrow so I can quit my job and still afford daycare while living my life of luxury in comfy pants. A girl can dream right?
So I thought baby was doing better with the bottle but then he randomly won't take it or chews it. I really don't know what to do. Do you think LCs can help with this? I mean part of breastfeeding is also getting a baby to take a bottle so you can continue feeding longer right? Idk. It's really stressful. I can't let my baby starve while I work. This is a mess.

Yes LCs can definitely help with that. Maybe some suck training?

Do you have any ideas who might be really good at this?

Oh, poor A! And poor you. Lol did they do anything other than just look in her mouth?

Tried to teach her about all the instruments. That's it if she was nice they would have cleaned her teeth.

I can ask in a Facebook group, but you know my usual go-to.
ETA: I trust her because another LC was letting my baby starve at the expensive of EBF. Ashley was concerned with finding the root cause and making sure he was gaining again.

Is she leading the support group tomorrow at BC? Should I make an appt?

She leads it, so start there. You can also do TT/ LT support group once/ month, which is only $35, so that might be a good resource too. Regular appts are around $100, IIRC.

Well I think I just need a one on one with like a bunch of bottles and some tips on how to make this happen. I've never come across this before and I don't know anyone who has and has overcome it.

Talk to her tomorrow and see what she thinks. If you don't think she can help with what you need, I'll ask about other people. There's one that I don't recommend that I know others do (see above), there's the lady you used previously in NKY and then there's the Children's Hospital breastfeeding clinic that I've heard good things about. Those are the ones that pop up the most in general, but I can ask about help with bottles specifically if you want.
I'm coming up with a moving checklist/ timeline while the boys nap. What am I going to forget? Obviously I have lots of packing on the list. I also have change address and schedule services to be turned off/on. What else?
I'll ask Ashley tomorrow what she thinks. I was just thinking that in every field there's one that is going to be the guru in certain areas and thought maybe there was a bottle whisperer.

I think that's about it, but change address with your bank, credit cards, employers, doctors offices, etc. in addition to the post office. And change your default address in Amazon and other online retailers you shop often. And remember that once your address changes you won't be able to use your stored credit cards (like on Amazon) until you change the billing address there. So you'll want to just get it all done at the same time.
You might want to have someone come in and clean before you move in. We didn't and I regret it.
Are you hiring movers? You'll want to schedule that asap.

Totally forgot about Jamee Diver at Roots Wellness! I've met her, but not worked with her as an LC. Super nice and I did some searches and a few people have said she got their baby to take a bottle. If Ashley doesn't have any good suggestions for you, I would call her.

Thank you! Definitely some address changes I missed there.
I'm going to double check everything when we get painting quotes, but I think the house was professionally cleaned before it went on the market. If not, definitely a good idea!

I'm going to bring my manual pump and a bottle in case she needs to see what baby is doing.

If you do the change of address online (it is $1) you can get coupons including 10% amazon orders for like a month up to $250. We have been using this like crazy. You also get a coveted 20% entire purchase to BBB. Work is insane. My eyebrows and nails need attention, but I have no time at all.
