When I do this she will get back in crawling position and rock/roll/army crawl to get them. She can also somehow scoot on her butt.
So she's figured out a way to get where she wants and is fine with it. She may not see a need to properly crawl. Plus doesn't she have two brothers who bring her everything she wants?
Agree with Sheila. Crawling on all fours isn't the milestone, it's getting to where they want to go in whatever method they choose - bum scooting, Army crawl, inch worm, walking etc.
One of my DH's cousins kid just started walking just shy of 9 months!! Crazy to me.
Right now my child is rolling around the floor with just her diaper (and cast of course). She had pooped, and since it was only in the back of her diaper, when I laid her down it went up her back. So two changing pads later (because she peed while I was changing her but after I had moved the changing pad with poop on it out of the way) I finally got her totally cleaned up and in a clean diaper without getting poop or pee on/in her cast. Is it too early for wine?
This is a hilarious image. You deserve a medal! This is one of those stories you won't be able to tell with a straight face when she's a teenager. lol!

One brother. But yeah, he is pretty much at her beck and call!
Whole30 apparently means any spare time I have is going to be spent in the kitchen cooking, doing meal prep, or cleaning up after said cooking and meal prep. I'm kind of over it and we still have a long way to go.
We bought a dining room table and chairs this weekend and also a mirror. The store was having a promotion if you spent a certain amount it was 5 years 0% financing!?!!! We liked the mirror but only bought it to put us over the financing threshold. H did the calculation at work yesterday, we basically got the mirror for free. That many years is absurd, I wish we had found more pieces to buy! The lady at the store was like you can pay it off at any time early, no penalty... ok but why would you? Lol.
rachelilly23, I'm so glad you made it safe and sound. Seems like the trip couldn't have gone any better if you tried. When you meet with housing do they assign you a place or do you have to find it on your own?
You typically meet with the housing office of your branch and they tell you what they have available or estimate how long you'll be on the waitlist. I think you can wait for specific neighborhoods also. But once they offer you a house, you have to accept or decline. You can onl decline 2 homes before you are removed from their lists and on your own. You can also go on other branches housing lists. Houses we looked at today are air force. We're navy. We meet with navy housing tomorrow. I'm also going to call army housing to see what they have.
The board has been quiet lately, although I can't say much since I have just been lurking
Glad you finally made it rachelilly23! Any idea how long it will take to get your stuff from the movers? Not sure how it works moving outside the continental US...
They estimated February 17th and we shipped everything December 16th. It could get here earlier than that, but depending how long we're waiting for a house, they would put it in storage if needed.

This is why I stay away from elimination diets. I spend so much time, money, and effort for little to no reward. I'm just trying to eat healthier, cut out alcohol except for one or two drinks a week, and eliminate any snacking after dinner.

This is my philosophy. Generally eat healthy, but life is too short to eat kelp noodles.

Who was it again that was getting shit from their family about making their LO a busy board?
The other day I was talking to my mother about it and I got "I can't believe you would teach K how to open locks. That seems like a great idea. *eye roll*" I wanted to tell her I'm at the point that I would teach K to rob a bank if it would get her to leave me alone for 10 minutes so I could prep dinner.

I get that and it's probably the ultimate goal, but we definitely need the "reset." We really need to work on eating whole, unprocessed foods and this is helping. After the 30 days we'll reintroduce what we miss the most, but hopefully our new habits stick.

I hope it works for you and the 30 days pass quickly!
This is truly random I think you can frighten ladybugs to death. I was trying to relocate one and I dropped it in the couch and then had to fish it out. When I finally got it was totally dead but not smushed at all.

I could have used this two years ago when they completely took over our house
We're currently in teething hell. Lil man has been so grumpy this week. He didn't have any symptoms with his other four, two of which were his canines which are supposed to be uber painful.

We also have been getting swarms of them. I swear if you make a loud noise near them they just die. It's so weird. You don't even have to touch them.
At what age will LO understand that the nail clipper is not trying to murder her and that holding still will result in it going faster and also no cuts?

I'm so disappointed. J has to keep her cast for two more weeks to allow for more new bone growth. But I'm also highly irritated. We got there at 902 for a 920 appointment, didn't leave the waiting room until about 955, and still hadn't seen the doctor until after 11 when he said he wanted to x-ray her leg. Like WTF?! At least we were leaving the doctor's office before 1120...

Ah hell no! With a baby, they kept you waiting for 2 hours?!

Right! I'm pretty sure the only reason we got put back in a room when we did was because I spoke to one of the ladies at the desk about 950 and explained that she was getting hungry and I didn't want to nurse her in the waiting room because she's so easily distracted. (Even at home I sometimes will go to a different room because of how easily she gets distracted by DH even if he's being extra careful to NOT distract her.)
The seeds for our garden came in today! Not that we can start anything for another month, but we wanted to get the good ones before they sold out
Time to plan for spring! Planting will be interesting with 2...
We got a huge garden when we moved last year. We were able to get it cleaned out over the summer, but we still need to build raised beds. I have no idea what I want to plant yet.
I got a new med to try to break this migraine cycle. I took it for the first time yesterday. I've never been so tired in my life. I was literally falling asleep at work and scared to drive home. Plus I slept through the night for the first time since I got pregnant. I woke up worried I missed J waking up in the night because he slept through too. I'm supposed to take it twice a day for three days, but I obviously can't take it and function during the day.

We really want to do one by I feel like we need professional help to get started... I'm not an expert and we are in a completely different climate. All the plants here are unfamiliar

Figuring out what to plant is one of my favorite activities (yes I know I'm boring). Have you grown anything before?

I'm trying to remember your whereabouts...any idea what some you're in? Humid or dry?
